We came across this restaurant as we were staying near by and didn’t feel like heading into the old town that night.
From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, the restaurant was empty but despite this service was so slow. My partner and I ordered the cau lau, Vietnamese pancakes and a chicken rice. The chicken rice was cold and had so much salt n pepper we couldn’t eat it, the cau lau was swimming in a pool of soy sauce with no other flavour, the noodles were hard (not the usually nice chewy bite) and it was also luke warm. Lastly, the pancakes came out 25 mins after receiving the other 2 dishes. I understand in Vietnam that the food comes out at different times but this amount of time for pancakes was something we have never experienced. Additionally, when they arrived the pancakes were so soggy and covered in oil. I tried to dab them with some tissue but even with saturated tissues there was still too much oil.
Eventually, we started to feel a bit sick looking at the food so paid and left. We were very disappointed, given the fact that we were the only ones in the restaurant. The server who I think was also the owner, maybe(?) was pleasant but barely said anything to us (took the order and came back with the food).

Read moreA must stop for anybody at Hoi An or going to /coming from Hoi An. The restaurant has one of the best baguette we had in Vietnam. The grilled fish on banana leaf under Asian food menu is simple and authentic. Their rice and noodles are great too. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple with their family who went to great lengths to service our pallets. Thanks to their awesome cooking and great service, we were regular customers to Tin to explore their menu further. They make everything fresh in their kitchen. Hence, some orders may take time to arrive but it would be worth the wait for your hunger. Their coconut coffee is not only a thirst quencher on a hot day but also one of the best we had in Vietnam. We were blessed to come across Tin restaurant in our Vietnam trip. Their service and food was nothing short of what you get from a family...
Read moreGlad I discovered this place in the neighborhood!! 👍 It has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating outdoors, as well as a nice enclosed, indoor area. I chose the table nearest the street, even though it's a fairly busy road, I like the feel of being part of the local neighborhood. The restaurant is very clean.
Excellent food, excellent service, friendly staff, and I'm sure that was the best tomato juice I've ever had anywhere.🏆 I tried the Vietnamese baguette with french fries and they were delicious!
I will come here for coffee and breakfast as well. They have a wide variety on their menu for both vegan and non-vegan, alike. It's definitely...
