Tan Thanh Garden 2 — Hotel in Hội An

This is a beautiful little spot right near the nice beaches in Hoi An but I experience quite the elitist attitude from the staff, they seemed judgmental and unhelpful when I visited. They needn’t judge someone based on appearance whether they can afford to stay at this modest but upper end villa. The pool is absolutely stunning but it wasn’t worth the price to be treated with disrespect (so shocking from Vietnam and Hoi An!) plus the “Vietnamese oolong tea” was actually just Lipton. $1 for Lipton bagged tea? We stayed at Ocean Breeze with my parents, husband and baby. We had anabsolutely wonderful stay. The villa is beautifully designed and a cool, relaxing oasis. It’s 100m from the beach and you have access to free sun beds from the sister home stay. We used the family rooms (all of downstairs) which was great having ground level access to the pool for the baby. There were some great touches which made it family friendly; high chair, access to small kitchen to wash things up, filtered water etc. The staff were so incredibly helpful and made our stay very easy, plus the breakfast...

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. ||The breakfast, made fresh in front of you, is copious and delicious. ||The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. ||The common spaces (breakfast area/lobby, pool, upstairs common room) are gorgeously decorated and inviting.||||The stay was a pleasure for the 4 of us, and one of the best places we've stayed in Vietnam.
