I spent almost a month at Blessed Hotel, I stayed in two different rooms so I can give you a full and honest review.
Staff A+ - I travel for a living and one of the unfortunate things I experienced was I caught covid when coming to HCMC, upon noticing symptoms I alerted the hotel staff and isolated myself and the staff couldn't of been more amazing, they delivered breakfast and dinner to my room and checked up on me often they where professional and courteous, after when I was feeling better the hotel staff were friendly and always going above and beyond the bistro downstairs which I will get to the food in a moment the service was always impeccable and the cleaning staff where quick and left the room spotless. Well deserved A+ for the staff here.
Location B - If you are here specifically for District 7 then this hotel is A+ for location as its right in the heart of D7 where all the action is, If you are new to Hcmc D7 is a bit of a drive away from other locations in Hcmc and for your typical tourist I would recommend District 1 instead. D7 however is modern with a ton of eateries, a couple convenience stores and some fun activities.
Food A+ - For the first couple weeks I lived solely on the food at this hotel I can say I have finished the entire menu and met the chefs, Firstly the main barista can make an amazing Vietnamese coffee, the Pho and Bo Ne where our favorites, had the sirloin with fries it was good and well prepared the only meal I didn't enjoy was the spaghetti carbonara I think they added chicken flavoring to it? Other than that a very solid menu with some great choices, your free breakfast if you have the option to include it I recommend it. you get an option of one meal and one drink, the coffees are amazing and the watermelon shake is definitely a nice refreshing change if you're looking for something different.
Amenities and Room Details B - rooms are clean and tidy, your typical fridge, TV, storage all brilliant and the shower MWAH chefs kiss One of those perfect high pressure rain showers it is an amazing way to relax after a busy day or workout session in the gym provided. The owner obviously spared no expense fitting out this property and it shows very small details like USB chargers built into the power points and do not disturb buttons for the cleaners. The one downside I had with this property and it's very minor is we spent some time in a deluxe room and then some time in the “garden view”, the garden view room was a little bit more dated and you could hear the street noise at night, it wasn't loud enough to interrupt my sleep and I'm a light sleeper but still noticeable, also the US chargers that were in the previous room did not exist in the garden view room for some reason. Very small gripe in an otherwise perfect stay.
All in all my experience at Blessed Hotel was amazing, with its friendly staff, modern amenities and excellent food I couldn't recommend this hotel more, we enjoyed sitting outside the bistro drinking our coffees and enjoying people watching the locals as they did loops around district 7 checking out the Christmas lights it was an amazing stay and I would like to thank the staff for their amazing hospitality. Read moreExtremely clean, beautiful colors and great decor. The Tea Leaf cafe is chic and inviting. Food ok; phô broth wasn’t tasty at all, which is really strange in Vietnam, and locals would be stunned if they tasted the dish. Pancakes were great, meatless option would be great to offer. Capuccino delicious! Might have been an off day, but service messed up order and didn’t place my pancake or juice order until my wife’s dish had already been cleared. Strange. Rooms clean and comfortable, very affordable considering how chic this place is in comparison to other hotels and services apartments in the area. Free breakfast with a stay at the hotel. Great place for friends to...
