Food 1.9 ⭐️ 9/10 Nem rán This was an okay add-on, but doesn't hurt not to have it either, would rather save tummy space for more meat! 1000/10 Bún Chả (large size) The most tender and perfectly layered meat/fat & skin-grilled pork I have ever had in a Bún Chả dish Perfectly grilled, mouthfull-bite feeling, juicy, and incredibly tender meatballs The pickle is a tad too strong on the vinegar like it is just freshly made The fish sauce is not plain but not too flavorful like southern style, closer to Ha Noi style YET! Everything mixed, marinated, and enhanced each other's flavor so well in a bowl Portion of vermicelli and herbs are plenty for one person

Service 0.8 ⭐️ Quite slow for a Bún Chả place. But now I know, good juicy meat takes some time on the grill 😅 Definitely slower during peak lunch hours It was 25m for the food to arrive for a table of 2 or close to an 1hr for larger group If you come in 4+ group, better come in to place the food at least 30m ahead of time. We came in group of 10, ordered immediately the same thing for everyone and waited 1hr for everyone's food to arrive at about the same time. Best way to get the food (if you live in the area) Get there an hour before lunch time, order, wait 20-30m to get your food, or go home/come back in 45m-1hr to pick up the food

Read more1 year update review———— It’s been a year since I came back to Vietnam and this place changed a little. The food is still awesome. However they have gotten a lot busier. The first time back, the wait was 45 minutes just to get the table. The second time I went off peak, so waited about 10 minutes, but unfortunately it takes them 50 minutes to fulfilled my order. Regardless how busy they are they make tables and area are cleaned properly. Complimentary ice tea is always brought to you right away. So, I’m increasing the service by 1 star. However, I’m reducing the overall by 1 star because of the wait.

As for service and cleanliness, that’s another story altogether- a huge room for improvement. Staff are mostly, if not all, straight-faced. Prolly because of the busyness and the restaurant’s high foot traffic, that they can’t prioritize this.
Anyway, I’d personally rather they are straightforward with their service while keeping the excellent quality of their food anyway.
Our first visit, the female staff who served us reeked of body odor. I hope the management will be more aware of their staff’s hygiene especially given that they are in this hospitality industry, serving and facing people, handling food at that. Deodorant isn’t so expensive. They can even use over the counter baking soda to tame off the scent and kill the bacteria causing the stink.
