The food was delicious and the portion was generous! Me and my girls wanted to have a light lunch so we ordered and shared 1 signature salad, 1 squid ink pasta and 1 fried seafood basket ( tempura sort of).
Their home-made salad dressing was on point for me, and I loved it! It is citrus, creamy, and a bit sour, just enough to help me forget the heat & humidity this weekend.
It was paired perfectly with the fried seafood basket. I ate it to refresh my palate. While my girls, they enjoyed the fried basket with iced coke and beer. I highly recommend this one if you wanna get a snack to go with your beer or sparkling beverages.
And we all loved their squik ink seafood pasta! If you know then you know that it is unpopular dish and hard to find a good restaurant to cook it nicely constantly ( hope it make sense to you!!). We weren't bothered of being messy as eating it at home! But woah!! give it a try if you are not on a date. Because I feel the quality and quantity I got were far more than the amount I paid ( around SGD$15 or USD$11). I had paid SGD$32 for squid ink seafood pasta in Singapore, and it was not that good.
This restaurant has a separate summer menu. It sounds interesting and we want to try it out next time. The downside is that there were no pictures in their summer menu! Pictures are only available on the main menu. When I asked them, turned out they did have some images for the new menu on their Facebook!

Read moreI really struggled between 3 or 4 stars for Red & Round. I had fond memories of frequenting this restaurant during the pandemic days and really looked forward to our meal here.
On this visit, the Carni pizza was fantastic. The crust was thick enough and baked to slightly crispy, but still with a chew.
The rest of the meal is the reason for removing 2 stars. The sauce for the porcini tagliatelle was strange. The wine in the sauce was heavy and didn’t taste quite right. The sausage was kind of like meatballs. The salad came out last and that was fine because the waitress had already given us a heads up that it would take 10 minutes, but it was flavorless. Kind of like a bunch of ingredients thrown together.
I settled with 3 stars because while I would have the pizza here again, it’s not just a pizza place. Perhaps it was just an off day and the pasta and salad are usually good, but we don’t get to go out for meals often nowadays,, so I’m afraid that I left pretty disappointed.

Read moreSo I rarely leave a bad comment at the restaurant this might be 1st time I'm doing it. Me and my girl having date night dinner. Our starter is Beef Tartare, low raw beef quality, seasoning was bad. Our 2nd dish was Ravioli, undercooked dough. well, the chef even came to us and asked what happened but his reaction made us feel like we didn't know anything about how this dish cooked even we cut it in half and showed him how undercooked it was but he took it back by telling that "do you want me to cook more?". Our main is Caponara Pizza as I ordered it it looks interesting the filling is fine but the pizza dough is not fresh as they take cold dough to cook and it ruins the pizza everything. Well, last one of course we have dessert which is Creme Brulee the worst comes last with a full egg smell and the seasoning is just really bad. What we surprising was that when we checked out I told the staff that we not taking away pizza as we had only eaten 2 pieces then they took it into the kitchen and nothing was coming back to us no one even asked us about how our dinner was. To me, as we paid for 1~million VND for that dinner for two is the worst money I have ever made and I mind never coming back to this restaurant again. Đối với tôi, việc chúng tôi trả 1 ~ triệu đồng cho bữa tối dành cho hai người đó là số tiền tồi tệ nhất tôi từng kiếm được và tôi ngại sẽ không bao giờ quay lại nhà hàng này nữa.
