Short overnight stay in HCM at this hotel on 3-4th Nov booked through Expedia . Big mistake. This is more like a cheap dirty motel you hear about on the telly, not a 3-star hotel. Whilst the staff were friendly, they hardly spoke a word of English. I was placed on the 5th floor, where the lift only goes up to the 4th. There is no window, but soundproofing is non-existent. The room is next to the switch/plant room and can hear it go off every couple of minutes when the lift goes up or down, anyone walking around or talking can be heard through the walls and door, whether in the hallway or the adjacent bedroom. They don't have any hot water, when I got the staff up to check they played about with the taps and did some hand suggestions implying there is water, whilst I was trying to tell the guy there is no hot-water, I gave up after another 10mins. They charged me every coffee and bottled water I'd used, very surprised for what is supposed to be a 3-star hotel. Cleanliness is the biggest problem, few hours after I'd checked out, my legs started to itch. By the time I was on board my flight, I checked in the toilet and I was covered with little red dots from what I can only presume to...
Read moreStay this hotel 3 nights. Our room was clean and well kept and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made our stay very comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite, always ready to assist when i needed something. The location in Phu My Hung is also very convenient, with many coffee shops and local restaurants within walking distance. It was easy to find everything i needed nearby and getting to SECC or the city center was quick as well. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you are staying in District 7 whether for business or a short trip to...
Read moreWe had a really satisfying stay at Hoang Yen Hotel. Everything was exactly as described on the booking site, so we knew what to expect - and that's something i really appreciate. The room was clean, comfortable and the staff were always ready to help when needed. Breakfast wasn't included but honestly, i saw that as a plus. There are so many cafes and local eateries just a short walk from the the hotel. It gave us a great chance to explore the local food scene. Most places were open by 6AM, so finding something to eat - no matter when we woke up - was...
