Elegant Homestay Saigon — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

This little hidden gem is run by the nicest guy who will treat you like his own family. He gave me a ride to change some dollars at a place that gave a better rate than google and has also helped me get a mega good deal on a vietnamese phone that would cost triple back home.

The beds do have a good mattress on them that is very comfortable, the dorms have an ensuite and AC. The beds are clearly marked and have curtains for privacy, a welcome pack is also included. The doors even coded locks so the security is A+. The lockers could be bigger to hold a rucksack but they are good enough for valuables, no need for your own padlock. The place is spotless and though it feels abit small and cozy i feel super comfortable to go have a chat with Vi.

Best place to stay if you have a train to catch the next day....

Stayed here just over a month ago and robbed by the staff while we were out. Took hundreds of dollars worth of different currencies. Only took 80% of each currency so we didn't notice until after we left. Wish we had read the reviews to see we weren't even the first people to get stolen from here. Stay at your own risk. The manager of the hostel Vi is one of the kindest and most generous people I’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to help me when I was I needed guidance. I will never forget his kindness! Can’t recommend elegant hostel Enough....
