Soul burger is awesome.
The restaurant itself is very well located, once you arrive it is easy enough to see the big glowing sign from street level, if your eyes are failing you from one too many beers just let your stomach guide the way!
It’s got a great atmosphere, perfect for a date or a social gathering, the menu caters to your needs and the Soul Burger concept follows through really nicely from the little history lessons to the memorabilia on the walls.
The staff are super friendly and very attentive and the food and service is thoroughly good.
There is plenty to choose from on the menu and if there’s something you’d rather not have in your burger (like for me it’s the egg!) there are no complaints and you are well taken care of.
The prices are nice and fair for the centre of the city but it’s all about the attention to detail for me, and I love the different cheese combinations and the surprising flavours that go into giving these burgers their individual and distinctive character.
If you are feeling brave enough to try, they also have their own bottled spicy sauces to give a “little kick” to your meal. The Atomic Sauce actually worked really well on the salad, just a few drops mind you!
There are plenty of different drinks on offer from ciders and local craft beer (if that’s your kind of thing) to your regular lagers.
If you do go, check out the Blues Brothers burger because the flavour combinations are just sublime!
Soul Burger is a great place to go and get full, listen to good music, relax, enjoy some good company and a few drinks.

Read moreSoul Burger - yeeees! I’ve eaten a lot of burgers in Saigon and this is my favorite place.
It’s all in the patty. The patty at Soul Burger is very well seasoned and cooked. My boyfriend had his burger medium while I like mine a touch past medium. Both were amazingly juicy.
Brioche and pretzel bun had great texture and freshness.
French fries were crispy. Well salted.
The Dianna Ross was the star of the show tonight. Just a few twists that made a fun, delicious burger. Cognac cream sauce - so good!
I could see how folks might feel it’s a bit tricky to find, but the signage is really clear. They have a cute-poppin’ burger sign right next to the noodle shop so you’re sure to know which hallway is the correct one.
We chose to eat on the terrace. Fun view of the hustle and bustle of Bến Thành Market - though there is a digital advertisement board just next door that is a bit glaring. It didn’t bother us, but something to consider if you are choosing between indoor and...
Read moreWings fried perfectly crispy, and tasty sauce, although not nearly as hot as the "atomic" name suggests. I loaded up on the Buffalo sauce on the table and that brought some life to them. Slider burgers were awful. They're not sliders, they're mini burgers. Big fat patties. No seasoning. No sauce. Sliders are usually served with pickles and mustard, but these had only some flavorless cheese. I heard the waitress asking others how they'd like the burgers cooked, but she didn't ask me, so i assumed there be well done, as sliders are, but they came medium rare and loaded with grease. I ate one and left the rest. Everything is a step up in price compared to other western restaurants in town. My IPA was also served relatively warm. Too bad about the food. The atmosphere had a nice vibe set to a...
