Sai Gon River Gate Apartment — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

We had a great stay in this lovely little apartment on the 19th floor – the view was beautiful. Check-in was super smooth. The host was also quick to respond to any questions, which made everything feel easy and welcoming.

The location worked well for us since we enjoy walking – it’s about 30 minutes on foot to central parts of the city. If you prefer not to walk that much, you’ll probably need to take a taxi or Grab more often.

There’s a small laundry area with a washing machine, which made some noise but didn’t bother us that much.

One thing to note: the apartment is a bit noisy when it comes to sounds from the hallway and nearby units, but other than that, we really enjoyed...

The lobby experience was quite bad, we were in front of the building and the guard would not let us in, so there is no reception, you have to wait for your apartment owner/renter in order to enter the building and nobody speaks english, they don't even let you leave your luggage before the owner arrives. The host was friendly and nice younger lady and she gave us some useful info. Room had a really cool view, and was decent, but we saw a few bugs in the bathroom. Location was decent, but not great. This building is comprised of many apartment owners, I booked from booking.com , with high score 9.5. You have to wait in cafe if you arrived before 3. And nearly 3 pm, I got cancellation without notice. When I asked, he told me to booked again immediately, and then they kept quiet, which mean I have to find new accommodation for my whole trip.
