Moon and Sun Hostel — Hotel in Hue City

Awful hotel. Upon arrival I went to the toilet in my room and after using it I looked down and there was flies covering the entire bowl. Must have flew out from under the rim. Turns out the entire bathroom was infested with them. The bowl of the toilet was virtually black there was so many. We told them and asked if we could swap rooms but they just said they'd sort it when we left so we went out straight away. When we came back the indeed got them out of the bathroom and instead they were in the bedroom. We went out again and they wouldn't let us keep the room key and took it off us to 'control the hotel'. When we got back they had been in out room and turned things off and things had been moved. Tried to get us to prebook breakfast however only one option was available to us because 'we booked cheap' even though we booked the nicest room. Then to top it off on the way out we checked out and walked to the end of the road to be chased by the receptionist to say we hadn't paid for cokes out of our fridge(we didnt have them). Maybe if we had our key this wouldn't of happened. Awful place wouldn't return. Overpriced for what it was. Very long stairs to the room no offer of help with our backpacks. Sadly we only had one night to stay in Hue, thankfully we found Moon and Sun Hotel as our home for the night. From Check in to Check out the staff were very friendly and welcoming (Especially Duc, now known as Ducky). The rooms are very basic which isn’t a bad thing, as when you’re traveling in Hue I’d consider it poor form to stay cooped up in your hotel! Clean sheets, comfortable bed, fridge that keeps your drinks ice cold, spacious shower and a balcony on each floor for smokers and easy access to all that Hue has to offer!||Only advice that I will give is to make sure that the water heater in the bathroom is turned on well and truly in advance of your next planned shower. En mi viaje MOCHILERO mochila y sonrisa (Abril 2017 - Mayo) por VIETNAM, en mi estancia en HUE, mi crítica sobre el alojamiento MOON & SUN HOSTEL es la siguiente:||Valoración general: NOTABLE.|Recomendado: Recomendado!||Tipo de alojamiento y ubicación: es un Hostel y su ubicación es correcta.||Personal y relación calidad precio: su personal es bueno! especialmente el Louan, muy simpático, servicial y atento, así como el jóven Thanh!||La relación calidad precio es muy buena!||Instalaciones: las instalaciones son buenas, destacar negativamente la falta de espacio común!||Wifi: el wifi es bueno en el lobby, malo en las habitaciones.||Habitación y baños: la habitación está muy bien, moderna, limpia y baño interior. Buena cama con ropa de cama, luz y toma eléctrica, locker, no muy grande pero genial!||Su baño interior muy bueno! detalles de hotel, ameties de baño, limpio, muy bueno!||Restauración: dispone de restaurante no, pero si sirve comidas y especialmente un desayuno inlcuido a la mañana que está muy bien!||Pagos, actividades y tickets: posibilidad de pago con tarjeta: ofrece actividades y tickets: alquiler caro de bicicletas, tickets de transportes y especialmente tours organizados! Buen servicio de lavandería aunque quizás un poco caro.||El hostel esta muy bien!||El nivel de confort aquí es muy bueno!||Resaltar varias cuestiones que no me han acabado de gustar: check in varias horas después de la hora acordada por reserva y la espera de |media hora por la bicicleta de alquiler!||Algo que reseñar aunque ellos no tienen la culpa es que en el tour Hue - Hoi An con paradas visitas que contraté con ellos el guía fue un auténtico sinvergüenza, además de no saber inglés, no hacía las paradas, horrible..
