Love Shino! Have frequented both locations many times over the past three years and have ordered delivery way too many times.

The new location is such a big step up from the one that was in a kiet around the corner. They’ve done a great job creating a lovely space.

The food is great value for your dong, especially the sushi boats with maki rolls.

Love the salmon skin salad, the fried California roll, scorched salmon sushi, and the tempura.

I wish I could give the place five stars!!

Unfortunately nearly every time I get tempura they don’t bring tempura sauce. This would not be a big deal if it were one time…but it is literally in the picture on the menu, and I specifically ask the server EVERY time to make sure the dish comes with the sauce. And save for maybe two times, it comes with mayo and chili instead (very Vietnamese, but that’s not what’s advertised) and it always takes five or or more minutes to bring out the tempura sauce, and by then the dish is getting cold. It drives me crazy that I need to reiterate this every time and feel like a jerk for repeating myself…but then my food comes out and it’s wrong…don’t know what else I can say.

I would recommend the management ensure the dishes come out as advertised and pictured, unless someone requests otherwise. And also to listen to customers when they are ordering…

Seriously though, love Shino, love the food, just incredibly annoyed that I’ve been ordering this dish for over two years it never is served as advertised. There’s a reason I keep going back!

GREAT GREAT food. Very satisfied with the service and staff as well. The manager went way out to make sure we were happy. The sushi was so fresh it was way above my expectation. I ordered lobster sashimi and the restaurant had a live one delivered to them by Grab taxi service to serve us. Then the manager offered (at no extra charge) to make a soup dish with the head of the lobster for us. It was as good, or even better, than the sashimi tail. Me and my wife were so impressed with the service and the food that we are returning tonight for another meal. We are visiting this city for only two days. This restaurant served better sushi than in San Francisco Bay area (where we live and know to have the best food in the whole United States) as well as sushi we had in Japan when I visited last year. Shino Sushi 2 lives up to its reviews and more. This is a delightfully cute little restaurant with a buzzing atmosphere but quiet enough to enjoy the conversation at your table. Kimy was our waitress and she was fantastic, literally running around to ensure that everything was perfect. My daughter dropped her fork and before she could even think about asking for another one Kimy was there slipping a fork on the table. The meal was exceptional and the portions are generous. We had to leave a lot of food behind and Kimy kindly offered to box it up for us. The best Japanese food we’ve had in years and a really enjoyable and memorable experience....
