When we arrived in Comodo Nha Trang Hotel, we were welcomed by the bellhop who assisted in carrying my large luggages and guided us to check-in. All the staff in the lobby were extremely friendly, smiling and greeting us whenever we entered and exited the hotel. We were served a welcome drink and was quickly escorted to our room.||I paid more for the Comodo Suite Room and I would recommend that you do so! Upon entering the room, there is a small guest washroom at the side, and a nice living room with sofa and TV. The hotel is literally by the sea, so the view out of the balcony was beautiful. I sat there enjoying seeing the busy street of Tran Phu, hearing the sounds of waves crashing and the seeing the sea and Vinpearl Island. The bedroom was even larger, which had a king size bed and a separate cable TV, a large bathroom with bathtub, separate standing shower and toilet. Basic amenities like kettle, coffee / tea, bathrobe, iron, safe, etc. were available in the room. ||Breakfast was average, with a wide range of different cuisines but I've tasted better hotel breakfasts. The saving grace was the egg station which served great scrambled eggs. Breakfast staff were also proactive in collecting used dishes, and were overall friendly. ||If I had the point out the negatives, I would say that housekeeping could do a better job as some parts of the rooms were a little dusty. Pillows were very thin and offered little support. As the hotel was right by the beach and main road, soundproofing could also be upgraded as we could hear the horns of the vehicles below. ||Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay at Comodo Nha Trang, and I would recommend this hotel to those travellers who are looking for a comfortable, fuss-free, centrally located hotel that is right...
Read morePros:- Really fantastic service from their entire team; the female manager speaks excellent English and was accommodating, and Dinh at the front of the hotel is very friendly, professional and helpful!- Perfect location; cross the road and you’re at the beach, and there’s ATMs out front and a mall one block over, and the markets etc 3-4 blocks up. This also means that it’s busy but quieter than staying near the night market etc. - Breakfast is plentiful.- The views from the suite room are stunning. The balcony is so nice to relax on and you have a panoramic sea view.- The bath tub is deep and divine! Sea and mountain views.- The spa on the 27th floor has a nice view too and their deep tissue massages are fantastic. - The rooftop pool is large enough with gorgeous views and is quiet which is nice, just choose your time. Good to know:- Bed is very hard.- I moved from 16 to 22nd floor (the noise from the street was considerably quieter on the higher floor).- A lot of the dressing gowns, sheets etc are stained (clean but need to be bleached).- The small gym equipment needs maintenance, but is usable. There’s also no water and towels as pictured, and no disinfectant spray after use. - Friday and Saturday nights from 8PM-11PM the band across the street is very loud/like they’re in the same room as you. - Already used slippers are provided to wear in the room, I just wore bare feet. - The A/C has condensation droplets around the opening.- A bit rough around the...
Read moreWe booked 2 rooms for 4 nights (Paramona Ocean View and a King Balcony Ocean View suite). I'd recommend the Paranoma suite over Balcony as it's too hot anyway to go outside the balcony.
The room is very nice, very spacious. However, I'd rather if they put a big sofa couch instead of 2 single seats chair in our room, those chairs are kinda clunky and not very useful for a family of 4.
The restroom is very nice, it has both an ocean view bathtube and a separate shower room, plus a separate toilet room so someone can use the toilet while someone else can take a shower.
The breakfast buffet is good, nothing reqlly stands out except the lady at the hot noodle station is probably depressed or underpaid becauee she never smiles even I tried striking a conversation with her...
The worst facility was probably the pool. The water was a bit cloudy and there were broken tiles all over thr steps inside the pool. My son actually got a big cut when he was in the pool and all they did was giving him some bandage and nothing else (which is what to be expected in Vietnam)...
Overall, the hotel is nice though location is a bit off central. I'd still recommend it for the view. Our room was on the 20th floor and we got a full sunrise view every morning around 5:15am... beautiful!!! But also means our room is super hot during the day because of all the glass absorbing the heat and the A/C could...
