The price of the hotel is cheap, and the quality of the hotel reflects this. ||While the mattress in the room was soft, the quality of the pillows were so poor. It was like sleeping on dollar store pillows. Also there were sand on the bed when we checked in...was the bedsheet even washed???||There is a window in the bathroom that opens up to the hallway. I'm not sure why this is necessary. To make it worse, the window doesn't even lock. So hypothetically a very petite vietnamese person (not hard to find here in Vietnam) can easily get into your room. | |View - paid extra for the "seaview" balcony (save your money). Got the balcony, but you need to step out onto the balcony to actually see any signs of the ocean.||Location - located on the busy street of tran phu...but the hotel is located right on the end, so be prepare to walk!||Buffet breakfast - ok selection. Not great, but not bad. The problem is the number of seatings available. The guests at the golden hanoi 3 also have breakfast at the golden hanoi 4 and finding a table can be tricky.||Staff - some staff were great and very friendly. Some were not and didn't even acknowledge us entering or exiting the hotel. The night staff was too busy watching tv. If you need help carrying your luggage into your room at this hotel, I wish you luck. ||NOISE - I will save the best for last. I have never be woken up at 7 am to the sound of loud hammering during vacation before. They are doing construction next door (building a new hotel?). In addition, they were doing maintenance work. So theree is non-stop hammering, which the hotel fail to mention on their websites. The construction workers work between 7am to noon, and again resumes their work from 2pm to 5pm. So if you want to sleep in and actually enjoy your holiday, this is not the place for you. Basic hotel, rooms ok, breakfast shocking, I don't like buffet and they are even worse when it is cold, even tried to reheat the bacon in the microwave and that didn't work. Staff not particularly friendly as much as we tried to speak to them they rarely raised a smile. Be aware that there is a lot of construction going on all over vietnam and nah trang is no exception. But I must say that it cause us a great deal of amusement when we were watching them do a concrete pour, the lack of safety and co-ordination is amusing. I did ask them for a room on a lower floor on numerous occasions as I do not use elevators, I fact I have a huge aversion to them. They proceeded to put us on the fourth floor, only two levels from the top, the stair climbing was a little much for me, I did try the lift, but it was so tiny I had a panic attack, they obviously don't listen to what the customer wants. On the day of checkout we settled our bill early so that when our driver turned up we were ready to do, the driver turned up on time and asked for us and they told his that we were not staying there, it is a good job that we actually turned up in reception at that time otherwise we would have missed our driver to Mui ne. As we were leaving they detained my husband telling him that they had to check our room before we left, hubby was furious about this, we had done everything right earlier in the morning. To the Hanoi Golden 4 hotel you have proven two things to me on this trip, 1, you do not get to know who your guests are, we are just a number to you, would you have repaid for our driver if we had missed him due to the incompetence of your staff? Во Вьетнаме мы были три раза в разных регионах и сравнить есть с чем. Отель выбирали по принципу дешевизны и близкого расположения к морю.||Расположение у него действительно хорошее: напротив центрального парка (до моря пешком минут 10, до центра минут 15-20), близко остановка общественного транспорта, на перекрестке всегда дежурят такси, рядом лавки с фруктами, кафешки и тур.агенства. ||Сам отель хоть и новый, но по внешнему виду впечатление такого уже не производит: много недоделок, все пошарпано, замазано и подкрашено. Приехали мы около 12, но к двум заселили не всех ожидающих (сидели в душном холле, хотя сейчас даже не жаркий сезон).||Номер достался на втором этаже с видом на соседние здания и кусочек моря. Слышимость хорошая, постоянно шум с улицы и гудки машин с дороги. Частые перебои с электричеством, только за первое утро 5 раз отключали. Кондиционер работает плохо, еле дует и неохлажденным воздухом, такое ощущение что просто воздух гоняет как вентилятор, хорошо хоть окна открываются. В остальном номер приемлемый для недлительного проживания (кровать, шкаф, телевизор, трюмо, креслица со столиком, фен, сейф, минибар). Есть чайный набор, ежедневная бесплатная вода и чай/кофе. Санузел посредственный, радует что есть мыльные принадлежности: зубные щетки, расческа и одноразовый станок для бритья. Ванная никак не отделана по бокам и не загерметизирована, поэтому после мытья под душем постоянно остается лужа на полу, а ручьи стекают в слив под раковиной возле двери. Мы привыкли к тому, что в Азии часто окно из комнаты в санузел, но почему на рулонной шторе этого окна прозрачная ткань непонятно. Справедливости ради нужно отметить, что кровать достаточно удобная. Уборка оперативная, на нашем этаже обычно в промежутке с 12 до 14, но один раз не оставили воду и бумагу, которая была на исходе. Интересно меняют постельное белье -заменяют только простыни, а наволочки и пододеяльник оставляют старый (видимо недостаточно грязные). Wi-fi слабый, но можно к этому привыкнуть. ||Завтрак имеет особую атмосферу, в 8 часов уже тяжело протолкнуться, так как помещение небольшое, а едят здесь постояльцы двух отелей нашего 4 и 3-го (который напротив). Вроде разнообразие блюд есть, но многое ни о чём и не соответствует завтраку, в целом конечно поесть можно. Самое нормальное делают на задней стойке: блинчики и омлет- на ней всегда очередь. Еще есть несколько видов фруктов (обычно арбуз, папайя и зеленые бананы), выпечки и сыра/молока/йогурта нет вообще, соки два вида (апельсиновый и арбузный). ||Отель подходит для неприхотливых постояльцев с активной жизненной позицией, которые планируют приходить туда только...
