Hana Hotel Phu Quoc — Hotel in Phú Quốc

I don’t usually make reviews but I feel like this hotel deserves more recognition. I just checked out after a whole month here. It’s a Lovely hotel in a quiet area , the rooms are spacious and in a very good condition. The bedsheets are clean and soft and the mattresses are very comfortable. There’s a night market only 3 min away and many supermarkets in a short walking distance. The beach with the best sunset I’ve ever seen is also only 10 min walk. There’s a free buss to the center of Duong dong (15-20 min on the bus) and the bus stop is only 10 min walk from the hotel. There’s hot water in the shower (some days the water would be lukewarm but they fixed it after I told them) and u can order food if you don’t feel like going out to eat. The best thing with this place is the host,Thu. She was very welcoming and made sure we got everything we needed and was alway very helpful.

Only complain I have is that I booked this hotel specifically because I wanted to be able to use the kitchen when I needed to, but when I arrived I found out they had an incident that led to them closing the kitchen for guests. She might’ve forgotten to mention this before I checked in and paid for the first month, but that’s between her and her consciousness. I did get to use the kitchen a few times when boiling eggs or making something quick but I had to ask and this wasn’t convenient for me so I had to look for another place with a kitchen for the following months. So if the kitchen is one of the reasons you’re considering this place, make sure you talk about it before. I was gonna stay on this island for several months so this didn’t affect me that much, that’s why I still give this place a 5/5.

I spent a month at this hotel with my girlfriend, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places to stay in the area. It offers everything you need for a comfortable stay: friendly and attentive staff, regular weekly cleaning, a small gym with the option for personal boxing training, and delicious, affordable breakfasts.

The rooms boast beautiful views, either of the mountains or a quiet street. Everything you might need is within walking distance: restaurants, shops, a pool, and the beach.

Not sure why this has a 5 star rating. The facility is pretty new and the room size is good. Very friendly manager at the front desk who is very helpful and is 5 star. There is also a free airport shuttle. Overall fair price. However, many items which are at most 3 star. Bottom of the drawers are missing, phone not connected and not working, TV is not working and has only vietnamese language support, no hair dryer, glass on the toilet too small (see photos).
