The photos of the hotel looked promising but we were very disappointed upon arrival. We booked 2 rooms, one regular room and the penthouse. The regular room had more space than the penthouse. Both rooms were not up to standard with poor finishings and were not 100% clean. The bathroom floors were dirty, benches in the room was cracked, stains on the bedsheets, and filthy walls. Half of the USB outlets in our room did not work and the wifi did not reach/work in our room. The outlook of the ocean was great, however, you first have to look over the vacant land piled with trash. Bring ear plugs because the karaoke neighbours do not stop and the traffic outside the window is loud. The pool is ok but there are only 5-6 lounges that get sun and there is zero service by the pool. You may also find the pool security lounging there too. The staff are not attentive in general and majority of them do not speak English so there was a lot of mistakes and miscommunication. I was never greeted by reception staff upon arriving and departing throughout the days except for at check-in. The breakfast was below average in comparison to other hotel buffet breakfasts, unless you like stale bread and dried out fruit. Staff were eating in the same area as guests, did not acknowledge us at any point, and ate with their shoes off and feet up. I felt as though I was intruding on their home or something. Did not feel welcome at all and we moved our flight to get out of here earlier… would NOT recommend.

I’m still booked right now, and I cant help but say I’m delighted with the amenities. Communication will be a little tough but it really is possible. Keep using simple words so you could communicate. Arrival: ✔️they picked me up at the airport via a comfy car. Communications and welcome messages also happened prior ✔️They helped with my luggage upon arrival ✔️They served a drink while I was transacting at the reception ✔️Gave info on amenities and all I need to know Room: La petite. I’m travelling solo so I dont need a bigger room but man I was really eyeing the pent house 😆 my room has a view of the ocean at the side of the bed and the bathroom. No tub in this room ;) but the minimalist design is really impressive Bed: the bed is so comfortable, like the hotel I stayed at in Asakusa 💖 M Hotel is also sustainable!! Restaurant: B1 restaurant serves enough options, variety of salads and dips, breads, pasta, rice, soup, cold cuts and processed meat, an area for egg, then area for creals and beverages. It is small but gets you options. Then you have a nice view of the pool and ocean lined with trees and plants. Sunset Bar - will try this on a sunset time, has a great view They have a pool, mini gym & spa for reservation. I feel like I should have booked here for longer :3

I booked here for four days and three nights, but I was very unhappy in the last two days. When I came back in the evening, I found that there was no water in the bathroom (shower, toilet, bathtub). I called the front desk and the front desk staff came into my room. He took a look at it for me and told me that there was nothing he could do and he could only ask someone to repair it tomorrow morning. As a result, the next morning, there was still no water in my bathroom! ! ! ! ! ! I still can't take a shower. The point is that I stayed in a deluxe double room just to take a bath in the bathtub. I also lost the opportunity to take a bath in the bathtub for two days! ! !

The beach is a disgrace (not this hotel's fault specifically) but the people of this town clearly have no respect for their waters. Litter and plastic floating in the sea and all washed up on the shore...This hotel is new but utterly soulless...the staff are going around as if they're terrified someone in management is going to reprimand them at any moment for doing something wrong. And as a guest, you get the feeling they think you're here to stiff them out of, oh, I dunno, towels or robes or water... it's bordering on paranoia. I was in the petit room which, although small, is fine for one person... it's well designed and well appointed with high ceilings and a cool bathroom (shower only) and cool floor to ceiling windows that frame the dirty beach... and let locals watch you while you go to the toilet. Breakfast was mainly Asian food, but a substantial buffet nonetheless...however overall the place is sterile... it's clean but gives you no reason to want to sit at their always empty bar/restaurant...nor by the pool. The little rooms are well priced... it's only 5 mins walk to the Night Market... and the hotel is M for modern. But it thinks it's better than it is and needs to inject a bit of life and fun into itself and stop taking itself so seriously....oh and they wanted to keep my passport for the duration of my stay, or else pay an exorbitant deposit that would be "refunded within 3 or 4 weeks" !😳 Grow up people... it's a slightly above average hotel you're running not a bank. Very missable all things...
