I sometimes wake up in the night and ask myself: How can this place have 4.5 stars? I recently had the misfortune of dining at this "bakery" for breakfast and feel compelled to share my experience in the hopes of sparing others from a similar disappointment. The breakfast menu appeared promising with options like a baguette, dark bread, an omelet, coffee, and vegetables. However, the reality was distressingly poor in both food quality and service. The coffee was a dismal start, bearing a closer resemblance to lukewarm milk than actual coffee, with virtually no coffee flavor detectable. Our hopes for redemption with the baguette were quickly dashed. It arrived partially burnt, and our attempt to address this issue was met with disconcerting resistance. The staff, instead of acknowledging the problem, entered into an unnecessary debate over whether the bread was actually burnt. When they finally conceded to replace it, their manner was brusque and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the replacement baguette was hardly an improvement, being excessively dry and flavorless. Similarly, the dark bread was unremarkable, and the omelet could best be described as blend. Just blend. Equally frustrating was the staff's refusal to accommodate even minor modifications to our order, demonstrating an inflexibility and indifference to customer preferences that I found quite off-putting. Adding insult to injury, the prices were exorbitantly high, grossly misaligned with the quality of food and service provided. This glaring disparity between price and value only intensified our dissatisfaction. Yes, it has an ocean view, but the chairs are bad condition. The "cherry on top" was the state of the toilet facilities, which were unkempt and poorly maintained. They didn't even have soap to wash your hands...

Stumbled upon this coffee place while looking a caffeine fix and it did not disappoint! Can park the scooter right outside. Just wanted a coffee but pastry looked amazing so shared peach pastry. Coconut coffee was very well done and the pastry was as good as any in Pars! Staff friendly and helpful. But the best of all was the view- breathtaking!!!! Would pay money to get a seat with this view! Toilets were interesting, might need attention. Price is high but definitely worth it! Would go back!

We are family with 2 active kids explore Au bon pain in the stormy day when we are driving around the island. Phillip was a great owner with his wife are very friendly and they welcome us extremely warm. The bread and apple pie, and other breads are really fresh and delicious. Definitely we will visit him anytime we come back Phu Quoc. My kids can practise French with him naturally and friendly. Wish their business can bring great taste to all tourists come and enjoy holidays in PQ.

Authentic French Bakery – A Must-Visit on the Island!

This bakery is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The atmosphere is charming and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a delicious treat.

The croissants are buttery and flaky, just as they should be, and the baguettes have the perfect crisp crust with a soft, airy interior. Every pastry is beautifully crafted, and the flavors are simply exquisite. , “pain au chocolat” or “almond croissant was one of the best I’ve ever had!

The staff is friendly and passionate about their craft, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re on the island, this bakery is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic French pastries and breads. I will definitely be...

Forgot to take some pictures of the best croissants i've ever had in my life but u definetely have to try it. Went here twice, the apple bread (i forgot the name) is great as well (normally i don't like cooked apple in bread or in any thing but this is the first time it got me). The owner is a nice, kind, generous french man who always welcomes u with his big warm heart and his very cute adorable little dog. They make u feel like u're at home. He also speaks good english and supprisingly he understands vnm as well (even it's just 30% as he said but i think that he was just humble). When we left the 2nd time he gave us a chocolate pain also. Wish him & his family lots of health and happiness to continue developing his greatful business. I really think that he should open more branches in Hanoi & Sai...
