I sometimes wake up in the night and ask myself: How can this place have 4.5 stars?
I recently had the misfortune of dining at this "bakery" for breakfast and feel compelled to share my experience in the hopes of sparing others from a similar disappointment. The breakfast menu appeared promising with options like a baguette, dark bread, an omelet, coffee, and vegetables. However, the reality was distressingly poor in both food quality and service.
The coffee was a dismal start, bearing a closer resemblance to lukewarm milk than actual coffee, with virtually no coffee flavor detectable. Our hopes for redemption with the baguette were quickly dashed. It arrived partially burnt, and our attempt to address this issue was met with disconcerting resistance. The staff, instead of acknowledging the problem, entered into an unnecessary debate over whether the bread was actually burnt. When they finally conceded to replace it, their manner was brusque and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the replacement baguette was hardly an improvement, being excessively dry and flavorless. Similarly, the dark bread was unremarkable, and the omelet could best be described as blend. Just blend.
Equally frustrating was the staff's refusal to accommodate even minor modifications to our order, demonstrating an inflexibility and indifference to customer preferences that I found quite off-putting.
Adding insult to injury, the prices were exorbitantly high, grossly misaligned with the quality of food and service provided. This glaring disparity between price and value only intensified our dissatisfaction.

Went here twice, the apple bread (i forgot the name) is great as well (normally i don't like cooked apple in bread or in any thing but this is the first time it got me). The owner is a nice, kind, generous french man who always welcomes u with his big warm heart and his very cute adorable little dog. They make u feel like u're at home. He also speaks good english and supprisingly he understands vnm as well (even it's just 30% as he said but i think that he was just humble). When we left the 2nd time he gave us a chocolate pain also. Wish him & his family lots of health and happiness to continue developing his greatful business. I really think that he should open more branches in Hanoi & Sai...
