Orchid Guesthouse — Hotel in Phú Quốc

Orchid Guest House is perfectly located in the centre of downtown, but hidden back off the Main Street so it’s perfectly quiet. The pool and building itself were awesome. We went for a swim immediately. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and so nice to us. They helped us arrange motorbikes to rent and it was super easy and very cheap. The rooms were very clean and had comfy beds. There was heaps of space for unpacking and even places to hang clothes inside the room and outside too. The staff arranged us airport transfer easily for a super cheap price too. Thanks Anita and team for a wonderful stay in Phu Quoc. We can’t wait to visit again....

well it's a guesthouse, so you can't really ask for much. The lady owner is really nice.

But the location (it's my fault for not checking carefully, even tho I was willing to pay more for a more decent place) is so horrible. It's not concrete road, it's dirt road, and with water it's very muddy and dirty. There were trucks going in and out, so when you ride the motorbike from/to the guesthouse, if you are unlucky you'll see the trucks going in/out the same time as you, so you gotta wait.

The room has no soap, no toilet paper, no free water, no shampoo or shower gel, no slippers, no hairdryer. We'd got to go out and buy most of them from...

James is a kind and funny person. 😊 We had some good chats and the rooms are very clean. You can easily rent a motorbike and book tours. The way to the beach takes you about 15...
