Phu Quoc Village — Hotel in Phú Quốc

From what we can tell, this place is run by a family of people, they use dogs as a deterrence to whether or not there is someone approaching onto the property. Dont worry about them though, they will not attack you or anything like that. The rooms are huge and have ample space for people to move about, air condition was great! toilets may be abit small, but come on you dont spend your time in the toilets do you? They provide mosquito nets if you're worried about them, and you have your own personal key which you can leave at the counter when you head out for your activities. ||They were super helpful and very accommodating, always trying to recommend places for us to visit and they love hanging out with us. The unique thing about this lodging is that they offer different types of lodging, Landed property style, condo room style. I stayed here for 3 months while working on the island. The owner and cleaning staff are very nice and there is a nice courtyard area. The kitchens have the basics. The beds are comfortable. The Wi fi is generally good. Great selection of cable channels. Since I left more additions were being added onto the property and there are also villas to rent. Drawbacks: some rooms have partial outdoor showers and they get dirty very easily with the creepy crawlies of nature coming in. There are no security safes in the rooms. Sometimes it is difficult to find a staff person in the reception, even during the day. Motorbikes park in the driveway as well as the owners car, so it is difficult to squeeze by. Because of the steps this is not good for people with mobility issues. Sometimes the gate is locked at night, but there is no set policy on this. Our group of 10 stayed at the 5 bedroom Villa and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were immaculately clean and refreshed everyday. Bedrooms were spacious with the bonus of each of them having their own ensuite. The pool was a great entertainer and perfect for cooling down in the afternoons. The location of the property was probably was excellent. 5 minute stroll to the night markets and all the lively central restaurants and massage parlous.

We must mention the great service of Miss Thuy. She was very helpful and accommodating. We had a flight very early in the morning and she made sure breakfast was available earlier than routine so we can fill our stomachs before the flight. We were all quite impressed with the breakfast options and it changed everyday. Will definitely stay here again if we return...
