Hoa Phuong Hotel (Guest House) — Hotel in Quảng Bình Province

Bedroom absolutely smelled mold and it was unbearable to sleep at night. I had allergies so strong was the smell and it never happens to me. The window was blocked by a wall so I asked to change the room and was told the hotel was full and that I should have complained when I dropped the bags in the bedroom earlier (in 5 minutes) and now I had to sleep in that sick bedroom. The staff was rude to my request and constantly laughed at my face while speaking each other in a language that unfortunately I can't understand. Because of the bedroom condition I woke up in the middle of the night and walked around so, for my surprise, found two other door open bedrooms available. I wish I had had the same experience as the other guests here but for me, even for a different premise of service, it was unacceptable and could not have the minimum of sleep...

Not about hotel but tickets which they offer. We ordered a sleeping bus with cabins to Da Nang. It supposed to be at 11pm and the guy told us to be there earlier. I was sick and didn’t feel good so I kindly asked him If he can let us know 15 minutes before bus arrival and we will wait in the hotel which was 40 meters away. He agreed on that and was aware about my sickness. Than he wrote at 10:30pm that we have to go there because the bus is going to arrive in few minutes. I will recommend this hotel to my friends if they have a plan to travel to Phong Nha. The owner and staffs are super friendly and supportive. They always help and ask me if I have any plan for places to visit and give us helpful information. The facility maybe not the best, I am really honest to say that, there are some ants, power off 1 night when we were sleeping, but the onwer tried his best to run generator for lights. Plus, I think living with local family when you travel to a place like this will give you more experieneces, information than staying in...
