I only planned to stay two nights as it's so central whilst checking out other places but I felt sad to leave as the family were so welcoming and spoke quite good English, especially the mother. Got discount after first night, maybe as it's low season.
No view, but clean fresh rooms. They had no problem with me moving up to the 5th floor for more daylight. Downstairs had more privacy though. Upstairs had only a backstreet between my window and the neighbours, but they were quiet. Not sure if they have any front rooms for guests or if they're all occupied by the family, but in any case the back is for sure quieter as no cars or motorbikes.
Right now there's a bit of roadworks on that main street but they seem to be managing to do so without any noisy machinery, and I believe there will soon be a nice...
Read moreWe stayed here for a few nights on our way through to do the Ha Giang loop. The owners and their kids are lovely and friendly. It was a great spot for us as we could walk everywhere we needed to. Only issue was the room would get very damp and was hard to get rid of the condensation without having the window open. Dogs and cats and roosters would sometimes have a competition to see who could be the loudest at 5am so leaving the window open wasn't really an option 😆 Overall happy with the stay and the value for money. Read morei decided to stay here because the rate is good and the location close to night market.. surprisingly their hospitality is great 😍 I arrived in the early morning and fortunately allowed to early check in with reasonable additional surcharge..
fyi, this hotel owned by humble family who lived in the same building.. if you’re a light sleeper, maybe you can asked for the highest floor..
also if you wanna go somewhere by motorbike, they provide it too.. you can rent a motorbike or motorbike with the driver too.. hope to visit this beautiful family again...
