We rode into Sapa and made our way to Tavan Homestay. It was such beautiful scenery and traversing through the rice terraces was incredible. Arriving at Tavan was great. We dried up and the family were so beautiful. The boy had great english and it was super nice to be able to learn about the family. The deck overlooking the valley and mountains became our home for the next couple days as the rains came down heavy. We enjoyed many good times there with everyone. Food was delicious! Read moreWe had a private room but there is so little in between the dorm and the rooms that you still hear every word. The beds are quite hard and the place is not that clean overall. The place is located next to the road so from 5-6 am you will hear the dogs, chickens and children waking up and starting to make noise. There are a lot of motorbikes passing by aswell which made it impossible for us to sleep well. We left a few days earlier than planned to find a place outside of Sapa where we can relax some more.
