Residence Hotel Zimbabwe — Hotel in Harare

My wife and I spent a week at the Residence Hotel and both of us enjoyed our stay there. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for a place to stay around Harare. The place is aesthetically pleasing with very well-designed building structures and a fancy pool. It also has incredibly fast Wi-Fi.

Service The service was top notch. The staff were very friendly, polite, helpful and highly accessible. They constantly checked in on us to see if we needed anything and would act quickly to resolve any issue we would raise. Location The Hotel is located in Borrowdale, which is a very nice, safe, and quiet neighbourhood. It is also a walking distance away from Sam Levy's Village, which is probably one of if not the most iconic shopping centres Harare. We did our shopping here and even ate at some amazing restaurants. With the neighbourhood being very safe and all, we could practically go out at anytime of the day or night.

Rooms The rooms were very clean and tidy. My wife loved the aesthetic of the rooms. The room came with a Smart TV, a mini-fridge, a hot kettle, an electric blanket, and Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the workstation set-up, which enabled me to work and attend online meetings as if I was still in my office.

The Food The food was extremely well-made and the portions were generous. The complimentary breakfast was also very good and diverse in its options; therefore, it was not just the same thing everyday.

Lastly, the owner/manager is also generally just a cool guy. I found him quite approachable and very hands-on when it comes to the business of the Hotel. He was always willing to help out with our other needs that were beyond the scope of the Hotel such as helping us find a reliable...

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, close to many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they arranged a taxi for me to the airport. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a desk, a TV, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom was also clean and well-equipped, with hot water and toiletries. The staff at Resident hotel were fantastic! Tinashe was very responsive, attentive and very professional, he made check-in easy, and my room had a beautiful garden view. The room was spacious, immaculate, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I needed, including a comfortable bed that made it feel like a true retreat.The location is very close to the shopping mall,which was a plus for menot withstanding the hotel facilities which were very impressive, with a lovely pool area, , and a restaurant offering delicious breakfast options.
