The Village Greek — Restaurant in Harare

Starting with the food, it's absolutely great. Not the biggest variety in terms of menue but for what the offer it is perfect. From starters to mains, everything is good.

The seating is largely outdoors, they do have canvas covers for when the elements get rough but it's good to know in advance. This makes for a really nice atmosphere, especially when the whether is good.

You should definitely try their mythos beer if you are into beer. It's an amazing Greek beer.

Today we went for lunch to Village Greek which turn out to be a huge dissapointment. We ordered moussaka and greek salad and waited for more than 50 minutes before giving up. People who arrived after us were served and managed to finish eating and we were still waiting for our order. The restaurant was not busy at all, one table was leaving when we arrived and there were two more tables with two people. In the end we gave up and left without lunch. Definetely won't be...

Always a pleasure to dine here. Food is full of flavor and freshness. My favorite dish whenever I dine here is the hake and Greek salad with the lightness of the fish with the freshness of the feta cheese and olives. Whether with family or friends or lunch date.
