Was told off by an employee at Burnside store this afternoon for taking two dirty outer leaves of lettuce then deciding not to buy. Apparently "it is not fair to other customers". The man could not provide a reasonable response to my question "do people even use the outer leaves", instead started nervously collecting a bunch of other leaves murmuring "it is not fair to other customers". What a difference it is shopping here to a large grocer like Coles or Woolworths. I was greeted with a hello or a smile by every single staff member I walked past and the food quality is much fresher than any large chain grocery store. The quality of service and produce beats the price difference you would see with the larger chain stores. Also convenient to have the coffee store right next door so you can have a coffee while you shop! Lovely staff! Please...
