Stay away from these apartments if you are looking for clean, well-appointed accommodation accompanied by attentive staff. Do not be tempted to stay here for any reason! We booked an apartment for two nights online and were charged up front. Upon arrival on Sunday afternoon there was no-one in the office and we let ourselves into our apartment. The grounds, and especially downstairs courtyards, were poorly maintained. Our unit was dated and somewhat 'tiredâ looking, with broken vertical blind cords (meaning we couldnât pull them aside) and a stale drain smell in the bathroom. There were no bedside lamps to help with navigating the furniture in the dark. My wife got very little sleep as our 'neighbour' still had the TV blaring at 2:30 a.m. on the other side of the wall. (Earplugs had saved me a similar fate up until then.) A recorded message was all we could raise on the phone. ||Come breakfast time we had to eat in 'single file' as there was only one spoon and one fork in the cutlery drawer, alongside of 2 teaspoons and a couple of knives. Other kitchen equipment was very spartan. Had we needed to wash our hair, we had one small sachet of shampoo to share between us for two days. After being reimbursed next morning for what would have been our second night, we hastily departed. For the money we were charged, this would have to be one of our worst accommodation experiences. The property is poorly managed and maintained and completely fails to live up to any reasonable expectation of value for money.||||Our subsequent attempts to have our complaints taken seriously by either local staff or Alloggio management, have been met with a dismissive lack of concern or by just not returning our phone calls.    Read moreI cannot believe that some people have given this place a good review, theyre either fake reviews or those people have extremely low standards. I checked in on the 8th April for a 3 week stay. The room I'm staying in, is very outdated, tired, cold, damp and smells awful. Aircon not working, just an electric radiator for heating, and two pedestal fans for cooling. The kitchenette has a cooktop, very old and the settings are worn off, cutlery is all different sizes, cooking utensils need throwing away, plates are ridiculous, side plates and soup bowls basically. I had to scrub the toilet as it has never been done and was disgusting. My bed sheets haven't been changed since I've been here, that's over 2 week's!! The patio is just some loose pavers on the dirt surrounded by weeds. On the second night I had to evict a small mouse/rat from my room that appeared from under the kitchen cupboards. The communal laundry is shocking, one very dirty machine and a broken one just dumped in a room that looks like it has been bombed by the Israelis. The free WiFi is weak, extremely slow and just keeps dropping out. And they advertise these as serviced executive apartments? Honestly go elsewhere as this place is a health hazard. Absolutely disgusting, they even have the cheek to put a sign up saying they'll charge you $200 if you smoke in the rooms, it would definitely make them smell better, when you phone the contact number you don't get an answer. I would rate this 0 stars but you cannot. I will never book here again, disgusting place/service and amenities and falsely advertised. The only good thing about these 'cough' apartments is when you leave, which I am looking forward...
Read moreThe good- -There is a full sized fridge and a small two burner hotplate, as well as an electric frypan. it's walking distance to town.
The not so good- the shower head shoots everywhere but down the microwave sounded like a V8 engine the bed is the extremely old and terrible the pillows are the 3 for $10 ones from Kmart, only much more worn out. the sink seemed like it was almost, but not quite blocked
The Bad- No staff, with no forewarning you are asked to upload your identification and credit card to a website that seems hardly secure, you are told this is mandatory and there are no staff onsite, so you have no choice. there is a sign on the wall that says you must leave the room how you found it (referring specifically to the dishes) but there is no dishwasher, so the chances of the person before you cleaning utensils to a level that would be considered sanitary is very low. there was an LED floodlight outside that lit up the area with the ferocity of the sun in Venus, not all rooms will be affected by this but it was bright light in the room 24/7. the WiFi took 4 minutes just to load a google map.
The result- For the price.... it's okay, I've definitely paid the same or more for places that are worse, and I travel with pretty much everything I could need including my own kitchenware. So having a place I could cook in was the highest priority for me. I am...
