1 Star: Today, on 10/05/2023 at 5 pm, my mother decided to treat herself and ordered 2 delicious Royal Pearl Milk Teas without me. However, there was a minor oversight as the staff unintentionally added ice despite her request for no ice. The cups even had stickers indicating the preference. Naturally, my mother asked for the teas to be remade.
To her surprise, the staff member opened the sealed containers and manually removed the ice cubes with her fingers. She couldn't help but feel concerned about the hygiene aspect, especially considering the staff also handle money. Moreover, the cups weren't properly filled with tea after the ice removal. It seemed like a simple step to top up the cups before resealing them, and we expected anyone with common sense to do so.
My mother kindly pointed out these issues to the staff, hoping for a resolution. However, her concerns were ignored, and she was given the beverages as they were. Disappointed, she brought the drinks to me in the car, explaining what had transpired. Determined to address the situation, I entered the shopping center and politely requested a refund.
The staff member seemed taken aback by my presence and offered to redo the order, despite it already being requested by my mother earlier. It became apparent that she recognized the lapse in service but hesitated to resolve it in front of my mother.
Finally, after some back and forth, we received our order without any discrepancies. We have been loyal customers, visiting Gong Cha regularly and thoroughly enjoying the variety of bubble tea options available. However, this particular experience on a Saturday night was far from pleasant, and we sincerely hope that such instances are not repeated in the future.

2 wrong drinks out of my 3 drinks and awful customer services.
First order was a normal honeydew smoothie. But he put weird coconut topping on top, which I didn't order it for this.(I didn't even order coconut topping on any of our drinks)
Second order was a red bean smoothie. He put 2 lids on top and my stupid paper straw couldn't pierce them, so it ended up exploded at the side. I got spilt on my shirt.
No one asked me for the bag even though I ordered 3 drinks alone. Plus he just put the last drink on the bench and went back to drink making area. I asked them if I can get a bag, but one of them was doing something on her phone and the male staff didn't reply my question.(didn't even say anything) so I tapped the bench and he yelled at me "just a second!". He came over me and charged me 10 cent and threw the bag on my drinks after payment without saying anything.
All in all, 2 wrong drinks out of 3 ordered drinks and awful customer services. I feel really bad that there is only one milk tea shop in this...

My sister tried a flavour that she's never had before (royal pearl tea) and it was bland and too milky, she had to go home and add more sugar before she could actually enjoy it abit. On the same day, they said they didn't have many pearls left... so we got less anyways... The pearls were half-cooked and had disgusting texture. The drink itself is fine, the service, not so good and the staff aren't approachable and it is really awkward to talk to them.
