Graceville Pizza — Local services in Brisbane City

’ll start with the plus points. For week 1, having an online ordering system that worked well and advertised the specials correctly and front and centre was great. Our order was right, and the service friendly and thorough, making sure we had everything.

Unfortunately I don’t have much positive to say about the food.

We ordered a large Margherita, Hawaiian and garlic pizza. A loaf of garlic bread also comes with the 2 pizzas which was welcome.

The pizza base seemed quite nice. There was so little sauce I had to lift the cheese up and go searching for it, and when I did find some it did not appeal. There was no obvious taste of fresh tomato. Maybe it was in there somewhere. If so, I’d recommend they use more of it. On the Margherita, the cheese was OK, but I thought there was so much of it that it overwhelmed, and none of us fancied a second slice.

The Hawaiian was I’m afraid to say, worse. The ham was grated, and tasted like it was processed. Whatever it was, I’d suggest they take off at least half of it, and consider not using grated since it is bound to dry out that much quicker.

The garlic pizza I think would have been quite nice. The taste was decently balanced. In our case it looked like it had been cooked some time ago and was dry and cold.

With it being week 1 and wishing for local businesses to always go well, I genuinely hope they can iron a few things out and I wish them all the best. You live and die by your ingredients long term. Given that we can do quite a bit better from anywhere else we’ve had pizza over the past year, (lots, from Domino’s up to the higher end authentic stuff) we’re unlikely to be back for...

Same con going on with this business - they stopped for a while and now it is back up - wrote about this before - you remove an item from the pizza say mushroom and then add a replacement say olives and they charge you $2 for additional topping when it a one for one swap. Do this a few times a night, a week a month and nice little extra money they should not be charging - when I asked the service person why it was being charged I got not response at all from them. I got silence. So not even and explanation after asking twice. Oh well will not be back - not good practice to charge incorrectly and...

You really get your bang for your buck here! The amount of Ribs you get for the price is amazing! Wings are flavoursome & filling. The pasta, while not the most amazing pasta I’ve ever had.. it’s still tasty, filling & super affordable!
