A couple of things overall created a very poor experience. Our Saturday 10am booking was given away to another group (server admitted she gave it away to someone else even when I arrived at 9.55) and we ended up seated outside in a table squished between a few other tables. I’m pretty flexible so I understood that these things happen however no attempt at an apology was made. The vibe I was getting was that I was an inconvenience to them. After 15 minutes of being seated, our order was taken no attempt at writing it down but we thought hey maybe they’re that good. Another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive and my friend who ordered a hot drink gets a cold drink, again no apology just a blank look like well, there ya go… our food takes very long and it’s cold outside and we ask if we can follow up on our food and if we can finally sit inside like we intended to with our confirmed booking and we get told you can sit by the window as all the other tables are taken (empty but maybe lunch bookings?!). The food finally arrives and it is 12.00pm and the food is delicious but we are also very hungry at this point after 2 hours of being in the venue. When we do finish up and attempt to pay at the counter, where there are three servers present, not a single one attempts to ask if they can assist with payment. Our order also does not appear to be on the system, or it takes the server a while to find our order, and we have to relay our order again and explain that we asked to move inside. We do not get asked how our meal was and no says good bye or thank you. No one gives a shit whether we were there, whether we had a good experience or whether we paid or if we were cold or at least say hey we’re so sorry we gave your table away or sorry it took two hours for you to get your food or here’s a better table we can give you. Brisbane cafe scene is very competitive these days, standards are high, there’s a lot of places now where you can get great cafe food and have amazing customer service. Plentiful you guys need to do better. The food was good but the human experience was incredibly poor.

Coffee and foodies rejoice Plentiful CafĆ© at 7 Park Road Graceville will have your tastebuds thanking you, your partner kissing you and your date wanting you back. First time here today on advice from my partners son, yes one of the those 20 something trendy’s how wrong can it be right! First thing we notice is its busy with people waiting for tables. We add our name to the list and wait with the others. This must be a good sign I’m thinking. We got to seated by a friendly wait staff.Ā  Note tables all cleaned etc before you sit in full Covid compliance, unlike ā€˜The Lighthouse’ at Cleveland. Menu has plenty of options, you have to go to the counter order and pay which is great as you get to see the kitchen staff working hard and the baristas in full flight. Short time later our mugs of cappuccino and flat while arrive with almond croissant and pancakes for miss 12. Coffee looks great and tastes even better, food was spot on and miss 12 said the pancakes were the best yet. Staff were flat out but not stressed, the owner on the floor in the midst so calm keeping everything moving. Experience lived up to the recommendation as well as google maps rating. With all the local cafes in this area, Plentiful is a winner and I will return even though I do not live local. Local parking in the surrounding streets easy with a 100m walk. Support local or if passing through try it, you wont be disappointed. Coffee 5/5 Food 4.5/5 Service 5/5 Ambience 5/5

Expanding on my previous reviews of the Plentiful Cafe, I must express my admiration once again for this charming local spot that I frequent regularly for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. On my latest visit, I decided to sample one of their newest additions to the drink menu, the Mont Blanc. This delightful concoction was both refreshing and creamy, making it a perfect choice as we head into the warmer summer months. For breakfast, I treated myself to the TRUFFLE IN PARADISE dish, featuring sautƩed Urban Valley mushrooms in white truffle oil, served on Turkish bread with crispy fried kale, a poached egg, pesto, and a sprinkle of smoked salt. The flavours were absolutely divine, showcasing the cafe's commitment to using quality ingredients and creating innovative dishes. Throughout my many visits, I have consistently been impressed with the dishes at Plentiful Cafe. The food and drinks always impress, and the service is consistently attentive, efficient, and friendly. Plentiful Cafe continues to exceed my expectations and set the bar high, as it remains a standout destination in the local dining scene.

Worst coffee shop experience ever near my housešŸ’¦

So racist experience from blonde lady staff around 9am on 28/05/2024

I got worst experiences about 'vanilla' pronunciation already three times in ur coffee shop. Whats the problem going onšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø I was so frustrated and left right after u ignored my pronunciation this morning.

U guys only can speak english but cannot understand my english 🄨 shame on you šŸŽit is ur mother tongue........ Vanilla is Vanilla. There is no other similar pronunciation among your coffees 🦻 Please, i am begging you. Could u clean your ears and listen carefully more for a foreigner? I could borrow you some cotton swaps for you if u asked for me šŸ˜€

The coffee shop only here cannot understand my english šŸ‘€ why? Today i got three cups of iced vanilla latte from cafe 63 instead of ur shop(it seems like u dont want to get me as ur customer) I really do not have any problems to place an order in gas expresso sherwood (nearly everyday), cafe 63, nitti gritti in my suburb. But, only here!!!!!!!!! šŸ‘€ i am begging you. Plz stop the reaction that u cannot understand my english.

Totally ruined my morning mood with ur silly facial expression saying "whats vanilla?" instead of other polite ways to communicate with customers? Even if you could not catch my pronunciation, if you at least were polite to me, my feeling might be okay. U could have asked me "sorry, what did u say?" Or "sorry, could u say again?" Ha. Is this a quite difficult service from you? If say so, Ha...... šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Hey, lovely staff. I am 32 years old lady u might think i am younger than you. Plz i am begging you. Please show some respect. Why do u look at other staff with asking "what's vanilla"? I will remember today your staff's face expression (ignoring to the customer) forever 🌈 🫄

Again, plz i am begging you. Do i need to kneel down for you to catch my pronunciation, Vanilla? 😓Please behave yourself and i will come back to ur coffee...

After coming here multiple times over the past 2 years. three times in the last two weeks. I was so disappointed.

After waiting for over 60 mins our food arrived. Well that was what we thought. It was just one meal. Expecting that the others would be following, my father waited. The other meals arrived over 40 mins later with the final meal arriving 10 minutes after that.

When the meals were placed in front of us, we were informed that additional items were added to these meals to say thank you for waiting. However, no one thought to ask if those items added world be appreciated or appropriate based on some dietary requirements that our family has: lactose intolerance for example or even if that person actually eats that item.

When we started to eat our meals, the scrambled eggs were overcooked, mushrooms dried and stringy, hollumi cheese overcooked (rubber). it looked like battered fried hash brown 😪 and the hash browns were so wet and oily you had to eat them with a spoon. My son only ate 1/2 of one and could not eat the rest.

I was completely perplexed that the two people that looked like they were running the cafe did not once walk to a table and explain for the cafe meltdown but rather stood behind the counter hoping that the situation would magically fix itself.

The fact that uber orders were going out the door while people who bothered to book a table, get dressed and drive were seen as ā€˜not the priority’

In the 2.5hrs we were there, no one asked if we’d like another drink, or provided water. We all wanted another coffee but it was impossible.

Our waiter was lovely and super...
