Asian Lily Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I have been going to asian Lily since it opened about 32 years ago, it a family favourite with the whole family. Food mostly is fantastic, there have been couple of not quite right meals but the owners said they would address the problem and next time it was up standard. Service is always good and the place is clean, including the toilets are spotless. Staff are always helpful.

Customers should not expect take away to food to taste the same as is does when served fresh in the restaurant.

My Chinese friends told me "Don't go to a chinese restaurant that has no Chinese customers." There were no Chinese customers on Friday night. The prices for dishes are too expensive for the ordinary or less taste and the amount. The chow mein noodles were thick, too hard and only a little - nothing like the picture on their menu! My Chinese friends were right!

The service wasn't good either. The waitresses were bossy (the waiter was nice). The waitresses often sat on the chair near the cashier and were busy for using their mobile phone - didn't look professional. I don't recommend the place and we won't...

I ate here tonight, the service is great - two young boys who are eager to do their job. They made one small mistake but were otherwise super keen to please.

The food was okay. Szechuan chicken sauce was thick and gelatinous, and possibly from a bottle.

The sweet and sour pork felt frozen and old it was a little lackluster.

The bill for 2 mains, and a fried rice with no drinks or entrees was 76.50. they also charged 50 cents for a container.

I don't believe the great service makes up for the 5/10 chinese food.

Good if you're drunk or just need to feed...
