I had really been looking forward to trying this place and I am extremely disappointed. I ordered the dry noodles with braised beef as takeaway. The beef and sauce was packed separately. Unfortunately I didn’t realise what I thought was sauce was actually pure oil before pouring it all over the noodles. The noodles themselves are unevenly cooked with some extremely thick and chewy like raw dough, in fact, I found a big thick lump of dough in the bottom of the bowl. As you can see from the photo the noodles are poorly made (looks like it ripped apart by hand and not cut with a knife) and extremely oily. The dish also didn’t come with all the vegetables shown in the photo and was missing the cucumber and Chinese broccoli. The meal was so disgusting it was barely edible.
In response to the owner: I’m not sure what the point of your explanation regarding rinsing the noodles has to do with anything I have written. The bottom line is the meat was swimming in oil, the noodles were so poorly made they shouldn’t have even been served and ingredients were missing. None of this is changed by dining in vs take away. I have no interest in repeating...
Read moreNoodle Craft must have been THE best Chinese restaurant dine-in experience I've ever had for the many years I lived in Australia.
The lady who served us was very friendly and polite, and asking for options/feedback from us while dining. You can see that they actually doing their best to try to satisfy each customers' dining experience.
The food quality was NO DOUBT the most authentic taste of Shanxi Province's Sliced Noodle, one of the Chinese traditional noodles along with the Pulled Noodles from Lanzhou, but slightly different in style. Rich taste in the fine mince paste mixed with freshly made sliced noodles that brings you to the origin of real Chinese taste to completely satisfy your taste bud.
I ordered the Datong style mince mixing noodles and the pickled dish beef mince noodle soup. They were absolutely amazing ! If you like the authentic real Chinese sliced noodles, this is where you go.
The hygiene was also very impressive. This is the only one street restaurant so far that I have been in Australia whose water glasses are crystal clean. Very impressive dining experience!

Read moreIf you're a noodle lover, this place is a must-visit! The noodles are outstanding—perfectly textured, expertly cooked, and so satisfying that we no longer need to trek to Sunnybank or Runcorn for authentic flavors. We had dinner here, and the restaurant was quiet and cozy. The service was impeccable; when we felt chilly under the air conditioning, the staff kindly recommended a warmer table. They even noticed my partner struggling with his paper straw and thoughtfully brought over a spoon for his frappe. These small but meaningful gestures made our experience special. Parking was free and easy to find in the nearby side streets during the evening, which made it a super convenient stop on the way home. Don’t miss the noodles dishes (we enjoyed the spicy ones and the spice level did not disappoint). Also good were the potato and cheese dumplings! Overall,...
