Lais Noodle Place — Local services in Brisbane City

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Ordered a honey chicken and a small fried rice to pick up (not through a food delivery service). Almost fell over when they asked for $37 at collection. Turns out a SMALL fried rice is $15! Honey chicken is heavily battered chicken strips, not lightly battered chicken breast. Fried rice was mediocre at best, could have been Ben's packet rice and I wouldn't have know any different. $37 for a main and a side of rice is just a money grab, that's the same price as a main dish at a fine dining restaurant. My god i dont know how this place has managed to get this high a rating. Probably the most subpar Asian food I've ever had in brisbane. The food did come out in a solid 30 seconds which was quite alarming, I love quick service as much as the next person but jeez that's a bit too quick. Zero care taken with the food, the vegetables were not fresh, beans had stems on them ? And the laksa broth tasted so sugary i dont know why it had to be that sweet.
