Oh my!!! Finally decided to come and check this place out and honestly no regrets! I came on a Sunday afternoon 1pm to avoid the rush and absolutely loved it. It's a really cute cafe on the corner. There weren't alot of people in there when I went (which is how I like it). They have indoor and outdoor dining. I ordered the chicken karaage bento. I thought you couldn't only takeaway but if they have enough bento trays you can actually ask if you can dine in. When my order arrived I was like wow! The lady who brought it over had a big smile. Presentation is absolutely beautiful. Generous serving of karaage chicken. And my goodness it's to die for! Karaage chicken pieces are really juicy and tender. The batter is really light. The salad was nice and fresh i thought I needed more dressing but it had the perfect amount of dressing. the bento came with a croquette it had bits of prawns in it, miso soup and added on a bowl of curry sauce so I could dip the karaage chicken in and a bowl of rice, some seaweed and ginger. Will definitely be back to try other bentos... but it all depends on whether I can get past not ordering the chicken karaage again. It's one of the best I've had in...

Wifey & I have have been hooked on the nomnoms here recently 🤗 . It has been a great find for us cos the food here is fantastic. I this cafe serves up a mix of typical cafe brunch/lunch options, combined with Japanese bento & bowls with good portion sizes, reasonably priced and most importantly - it tastes great 👍🏻 . Across several visits, we’ve had their: ~ Seafood Soup ~ Seafood Pasta ~ Bugs Pasta ~ Seared Salmon & Avo bowl . All of the dishes we’ve tried have been on point. The Seafood Soup & Seafood Pasta both have loads of mussels, king prawns, scallops and calamari. Wifey really liked their Bugs Pasta - which was made with three halves of moreton bay bugs, mud crab, bisque sauce and pappardelle. Plus their Seared salmon bowl had loads of salmon pieces, so for the prices it was amazing 🤩 . We’re keen to come with Bailey 🐶 too cos they have outdoor seating which is pup friendly 👌🏻 . With friendly staff & great food, it makes this cafe very easy to recommend...

Think we unfortunately visited on a very busy day so the staff was really stressed out and therefore service wasn't that great. No matter how busy though I think that if you don't have time to wipe off the table and take away the dishes from the previous guests you should not put all the cutlery and straws in a big pile on the dirty table, didn't feel great to use the cutlery after that. Also think that they could work a little on the efficiency and finish serving one table at a time (if the foods/drinks are done and just sitting on the counter) instead of trying to start serving everyone at once but then have them wait for the rest of what they ordered. Just went there for coffee/tea and pastries so I can't say anything about the food but the pastries were very average and nothing special. Really nice looking interior though, felt cozy and would probably have been better overall if we visited on...

I feel like this cafe is out of place. The food is really good for a local diner. Just unexpected to find this where it is located. Venue has been taken over by them only recently. Interesting mix of cultures in the food. Italian and Japanese as well as Breakfast which had me worried at first but it actually works. I’ve been here on 4 different occasions and 2 takeaways within a week. I’m addicted 😂 You got to give these guys a go. Small team so they definitely work their butt off to bring it all together. Coffee is excellent. Food is excellent. And the service is awesome too. Presentation on both dine-in and takeaway is great too. My only criticism is I wish the ramen noodles was not the packet one but the tonkatsu broth was so good that it isn’t noticeable. But then again it’s not a ramen shop so it was still good and I’m still giving them 5 stars. I highly recommend checking them out.
