Sandgate Kebab & ice cream — Local services in Brisbane City

Since opening I have been in here twice, the first time was a 5 star review straight up for the two kebabs and chips I ordered, the second which was fri night just gone, same order but i ended up with olives and mushrooms added to mine which the mushrooms were no issue but im allergic to olives, luckily only in a small way but i couldn’t eat my lge kebab because of it. There was no point in coming back because it was late and i just put it down to how busy they were etc, but come to tonight, Sunday night and my partner and i only felt like a snack as such, so i ordered a reg hsp, which i agree with another review on here, it’s a small hamburger box which is not really full, my major gripe is that i asked for some extras which weren’t accommodated for, i ordered through the menu log app which allows you to clearly write in your requests and seeing as I paid $23, i would of thought a small amount of mayo and a pita bread would of been an achievable thing. I’m guessing not, their food is really nice and I want to keep using them but I seem to be getting the raw end of the stick, especially this weekend . Please give them a go as when they get it right they are one of, if not the best kebab shop I have been too. I would get the kebabs which I feel are better value,

This was our second time going here and we were Absolutely scammed. The first time was a couple of months back when they first appeared in Sandgate and they lathered our food in sauce and pretty much ruined it. Now since then My father has been sadly diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and is now unable to enjoy many different foods. The number 1 thing he’s cannot eat, something that’s potentially physically dangerous to him is kebab meat. he specifically and very politely ordered himself a falafel of which he’d been waiting to eat all day, along with a mixed kebab for myself. Upon arriving home and biting into what was ment to be a tabouli packed falafel he was shocked to discover that it was full of kebab meat which is extremely harmful to him. Not only that but my kebab didn’t have either of the two sauces I ordered and it had a strange tangy and creamy flavour. We were given two inedible items which you people refused to refund earlier today. We are not petty people and just wanted to give you a second chance to make us a good meal. No vouchers will be accepted as compensation as we will not be returning a third time after...

First time trying have walked past for a while now and said one day,heard and seem good reviews too, unfortunately my first experience shall be my last the whole tray of sliced tomatoes looked like they were a week and half old (I opted for no tomatoes). The young lass that took my order started sniffeling a stuffy nose when takeing payment then proceeded to walk to bench rubbing that sniffle/runny nose grabbed a pair of gloves and placed them on without washing hands and then once gloved she proceeded to re rub that sniffly nose with the gloves on and start makeing my order (I did ask for the other lass to make my order after seeing this to which they complied with the request how ever I could tell I wasn't the first lasses favourite person at that point of time if ya know...
