I usually love this place but had a terrible experience recently. My parter and I came down for a few drinks. The beers were great and service fantastic. When it came to leave, we went to walk out the front door that we had walked in less than 2 hours earlier. There was a private function and a guy singing and playing guitar right at the front door. With no signage saying so, we got the the front door and it was locked. We then got approached by a very rude girl telling us the door was locked (obviously). We said sorry and that we were just hoing out the way we came in. She was extremely abrupt and made us feel terrible for not realising they had locked the only entry/exit we knew of with no singage to the contrary. Mr Henderson, or Hendos, is a fantastic little venue located in the heart of the Sandgate strip. There is usually a fantastic atmosphere there during the weekend, and there is also collaboration with food truck vendors most weekends as well. The outdoor area offers the best seating options, but there is also ample seating inside. They offer a huge variety of local beers as well as a 4 variety gin paddle, which is a personal favourite. Long and thin in the northern suburb of Sandgate, the pub is run by 4 friends (I think) who are all about providing a fun time for all their patrons.

While they don't directly serve food, they do occasionally order foods for local places for consumption.

They have trivia on the first Wednesday of the month, and apparently looking at doing it more frequently.
