Even though his death has been over for years, he remains a great leader. He stands memorialized in a country miles away from his homeland. Tears well up in my eyes, and my hair stands on end. At the base of the memorial is a letter he wrote to the mothers of soldiers, addressing his enemy, the Anzac soldiers. The great leader, the one and only great leader, commander-in-chief, and military genius, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
