Went there with some friends on a Friday night. It wasn’t overly busy. We were seated at a high table that was sticky and had not been cleaned. I asked around 3 staff members multiple times to clean the table but they would keep cleaning other tables around us that were empty but not our table. Would constantly avoid eye contact when trying to grab their attention to wipe the table. Finally when the female staff did come in to clean, she didn’t look happy that she had to clean. We were all sitting around with our drinks and she started spraying the cleaner aggressively all over the table so we all got a taste of the cleaner on our clothes and mouth and possibly in our drinks. Just unbelievable. Staff were unfriendly, unapproachable and looked like they hate their job, especially the girl who cleaned our table or I should say sprayed us with the...

The food was decent but the service wasn't great. I recently stopped by here for lunch before visiting the War Memorial and asked if I could remove the regular fries from my main and add sweet potatoes fries (which are on the sides menu). The server said no and that I had to order them as a separate side. It just amazes me as to why they would be so inflexible with their menu. Every other pub I've ever bee to easily swaps sides around and costs the main accordingly. Sweet potato fries cost more and I would expect an additional cost to the main so it's not as if I was asking for them at no additional cost. I suspect it's because the server wasn't bothered to do the math or otherwise couldn't as he seemed a bit confused when I asked. If you're in the area and feel like a pub meal then give this place a try but definitely not worth going out of...

Busy at lunchtimes through the week with workers from close by buildings. Excellent well placed outdoor seating with long tables and benches, big shade umbrellas, makes for cosy easily accessible atmosphere. I had a roasted Pumpkin salad, just delicious. My husband had Mushroom Arancini balls which he thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are great and in abundance, we had our Twin Granddaughters in a double pram at a busy lunch hour over Christmas and were treated as other customers were, we sat at a long table for 6 but kept to one end, we weren’t hurried up by staff and were able to feed the babies and enjoy our excellent coffee. We returned on Boxing Day but they weren’t open, but Teddy Pickers cafe next door was, and overflowing with customers, hopefully they have a neighbour roster system in place which is...

Only went here for breakfast but the variety was pretty decent. They cook up a mean big breakfast which left me satisfied. The bacon was deliciously smoky and the eggs were suitably runny. They even surprisingly had a Japanese inspired menu, offering okonomoyaki pancakes and Yuzu salmon which while refreshing was on the expensive side. 18 dollars for pancakes while 19 buys a big breakfast seemed a little 'not worth' the coffee was on the acidic side, providing a very tart coffee, while that didn't suit my taste, others may possibly enjoy. Not sure if they rotate beans to provide a cycle of flavours but that was my experience during the two days I was there.

Great dog-friendly spot with cosy outdoor seating! We had a guest from out of town and needed a dog friendly place to have dinner during a cold winter night. Lucky to have found The Pedlar! The outdoor seating area is well-covered and equipped with heaters, making it warm and comfortable. I would recommend the coconut chicken salad and prawn and chorizo linguine. Loved the shoestring fries too which were were crispy and the molten lava cake was divine. Staff were welcoming and accommodating, and their Instagram page was prompt to reply. Food and service were excellent—definitely coming back!

Good meals and smoothies available. Though on this visit (Sunday morning) the breakfast menu finished and customers weren't allowed to order from that. One would then think that you could order off the regular lunch menu, but no that was not available yet. It seems a little odd that customers are stuck just having with the drinks menu. Hopefully this is a one off experience. There is plenty of seating inside and out, with equal amounts of both. Outside has heating also, for the folder months or the year. Staff are friendly and quick to serve
