Kiitos Cafe — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

I recently visited Kiitos Cafe in Campbell and had an overall positive experience. The service was fast and friendly, and the food and coffee were quite good. However, there was one notable drawback that affected my comfort during my visit.

Let's start with the positives. The service at Kiitos Cafe was impressive. The staff members were attentive, efficient, and always wore welcoming smiles. They made sure that my order was taken promptly and delivered with care. Additionally, the food and coffee were delightful. The menu offered a variety of tasty options, and the flavors were well-balanced. The quality of the coffee was commendable, and it provided a pleasant boost to start my day.

On the downside, the temperature inside the cafe was an issue. Despite all the doors being open, the atmosphere was freezing during the winter. This made it uncomfortable to enjoy my meal and relax with a cup of coffee. I understand the desire to maintain good ventilation, especially during these times, but it would have been great if they found a way to balance it with ensuring a comfortable environment for customers.

Despite the temperature concern, I appreciate the efforts of the staff and the overall quality of the food and coffee at Kiitos Cafe. If you're visiting during the colder months, it might be worth preparing yourself with an extra layer to fully enjoy...

VERY MEAN and Unkind for employees. I went there for a "pay trial". They asked me to work from 6am to 11am. Never offered me a glass of water during the entire time. (even they offer water for their dog guests) Only paid $15/hour which is below minimum. I asked them I need to be paid at least minimum wage but they sent me the screenshot of lawful unpaid trial which is unrelevent in this case(more than 10 times of dishwashing and coffe run/cleaning table/serving people is not a trial/ I cover entire shift as a all arounder plus I took a Uber ($26)to get there )

Have some humanity to employees!!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner should be very happy to save $35 from me. I have never seen a cafe that never offer me a drink!

They advertise their wage as $30 but it is not true.

I would not buy a coffee if the owner is mean to...

Coffee was fine. We ordered 2 cronuts as well aside from all the cakes in photos. We ordered 1 caramel & 1 chocolate cronut, however not sure if the chocolate supposed to taste that way in cronut but it had this sour taste in the chocolate. We did not enjoy that sour taste at all. The pistachio slide was the nicest. In addition, summer is soon approaching, it’s actually already hot in middle of the day now. We went to cafe on a sunny lunch time, we had to sit outdoor due to not enough seats indoor, the sun was very very hot, we had to leave faster than planned. Would kindly make a suggestion to the cafe to get a foldable big umbrella. If customers want to enjoy the sunlight, it can...
