Wanting to express my appreciation for Claudia in assisting me with my booking at the spa - she went above and beyond to allow me a much-needed hour of pampering recently, and I was extremely impressed with her thoughtfulness and ability to make it happen.

She brought a huge sense of ease, and that was even before I entered the treatment room! Thank you so much 💫

I opted for a special autumn promotion that included a blissful hot stone massage, back treatment (natural salt scrub and masque), and foot massage.

From start to finish, the experience was so polished. There are some therapists who have the gift of intuition, and I really felt it from Sarah. She brought the skills to make it so seamless - transitioning between treatments in such a smooth manner - which made for a beautiful journey for the hour that felt much longer. It’s not often I can fully relax and switch off, but I truly did float out of my room feeling so relaxed!

Hot stones always bring me joy, and Sarah was extremely skilled in sliding them over my skin and also knowing exactly where to focus her attention with the massage. The perfect pressure between medium and firm left me feeling looser considering the short time frame she worked her magic!

The salt scrub was divine - I don’t often opt for body scrubs but realised just how much I enjoy them when I do. It was a multi-sensory experience and has left my back feeling nicely renewed.

Finally, for the foot massage, this was again done so deftly and truly took me out of my body for a few timeless moments. I felt myself breathing so deeply again, which was very welcomed.

The treatments finished with a beautiful crimson tea - hibiscus and cranberry - along with a lovely slice of something delicious, within the spa’s ’dream pods’ which are exactly as they sound. A tranquil space to ‘come to’ after the relaxation session.

I prioritise my self-care whenever I can, but haven’t been able to make much time for it lately, so to ease back in with Chuan Spa was exactly the experience I needed.

I enjoyed it so much that I also booked an express facial the following day, and again, my therapist knew exactly what to do to bring about a sense of relaxation I hadn’t been able to achieve for the past few months.

I absolutely recommend Chuan Spa; there are no regrets for taking a little time for myself after a very hectic few months, and I am so grateful I found such a place to treat myself. My experiences here tell me this is a quality spa and a place where you can reasonably expect to feel pampered in all the right ways, in a predictable and consistent manner, which for me is one of the most important factors in choosing to return. I can’t wait for my next visit already!...

There was a mix up with my booking upon arrival, the ladies at the front desk dealt with this in the most professional manner possible, Natalie and Emma both provided exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to accomodate a booking for me the same morning, provided extra benefits of organising morning tea for both me and my partner (who did not have a treatment booked in). Their level of service was absolutely top quality and did not affect my experience here today, in fact made it all the more relaxing and made me feel of upmost importance. I’m extremely impressed, I don’t think I’ve had anyone in recent years be as accomodating as both of these lovely ladies.

My treatment with Charlie was exceptional as well, the pressure she applied to me was just perfect for what my body needed today. Her level of customer service was outstanding, informative and overall the most pleasant massage I’ve had in a long time. Overall, I have had a wonderful and relaxing experience today. Stunning spa.

Chuan package was delivered beautifully, the 45 minute massage was amazing followed by a gorgeous 45 minute facial, really enjoyed the products & therapist was so skilled.

The elemental quiz was a great way to align with the style of treatment. Very fun.

The elemental tea & slice at the end were both sublime.

My only wish was that the front of house was less focused on their product sales right at the start on my arrival: of course the products were lovely, yet I would have much preferred a quiet place & time to settle in and had my time uninterrupted by sales, before my treatment. It was disappointing to stay waiting to be sent in to go to products promoted before I was even given a robe and settled in.

Further; what was brash was the expectation that I would be buying these regardless of the disclosure of prices & offered for some to be left at reception.

Not a great way to unwind what was a gifted pamper experience.
