Yesterday the 12 July , I was entering from the car park lower level , and as I’ve been shopping here since the centre opened , walked as usual up the left side escalator , only to be jolted back as they had reversed the direction of the escalator , it gave me such a shock , and I jolted my whole back and twisted my arthritic knee , so now I’m hobbling around and in pain . I was aware they had done this a few days prior , but forgotten yesterday , and the other side was out of action ?

No signage , no barrier , nothing to warn anybody about this at all . I later saw another woman do the same but fortunately I warned her . A lot of older people come here and could easily be injured badly or worst , as has had happened here with one man I’m aware of falling and passing away from his injuries . Also these escalators are treacherous in wet weather , with people falling , and slipping .

Something must be done about this situation , and I’m appalled that no sign was posted on the escalators . I did go to the centre management but it was closed for painting , and the man who was inside took no notice of me at the door . My injury has stopped my from going to work yesterday after the incident .

I’m deciding whether I should take this further ?

Open concept dining and food services catering to a crowd that is drawn to the ‘boutique’ outdoor market feel. Locals even dock their boats to shop or grab s bite.

Although it feels high end, the restaurants and cafes here cater to all clientele. Along with trendy cafes, you’ll also find a grocery store, butcher, fresh seafood, and health food shop. there’s even a couple stores that might meet your fashion needs.

Although I haven’t tried all the cafes, I recommend Bisou Bakery. Good food and service. The waterfront dining at Edgewater is supposed to be fantastic as well.

Although there seems to be a lot of dining tables and chairs, bamboo swings, and couches, the place gets packed on the weekends.

Capri on Via Roma has underground parking. The shops outside the market hall include hair and nail salons, barber, post office, medical and dental services and a pharmacy. There’s even an on-site...
