Parkwood International Golf Course — Local services in Gold Coast City

I’ve never left a review before but unfortunately I had a terrible experience on the golf course. I was in the middle of putting my ball on the 5th green while crew members were sitting next to the green having a chat. A maintenance crew member turned their machine on as I was lining my ball up and began cutting the green. He deliberately drove through my line whilst in the middle of my putting stroke. When confronting him he told me it wasn’t his problem. I’ve played a lot of golf throughout my life, and worked on numerous golf courses and have never had such an interaction or disregard for a paying customer. I drove off the course immediately and will never return to Parkwood. I do not recommend playing this course. Their prices are through the roof - $90 is outrageous for such a poorly maintained golf course. Given its poor condition and lack of regard for customers, I wouldn’t bother paying...

We attended a 60th birthday on Friday night, I was very shocked at how downhill the Resturant part of this place had gotten too. We had to wait 40 min for food, and the place was only 1/4 full with people. We asked for a margarita, only to be told it was pre mix cocktail- so you have a full bar, but no bar tender can make a basic cocktail The children play room was terrible, the aircon machine looked full of mold, and was running at 33 drg. Mold line this is very dangerous and harmful to children’s lungs. We recently had our annual work function at the Club and I have to say it was amazing! Mel (events co-ordinator) is awesome and nothing was too much trouble, she even surprised us with a backdrop using our Logo to be used for photos! Mel has great contacts and was a one stop shop for our event! Atmosphere was wonderful, food was great, the serving staff were great with everything reasonably priced!
