2 bros Parkwood — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I went to 2 Bros as I was looking for some halal options during my stay on the GC.

Here is my critique -

The good!

The Boss Burger - Wow! Absolutely amazing. One of the best chicken burgers I have ever had. I would rate it honestly 9.5 out of 10, the only reason it was not a 10 is it could have used some more sauce.

If your looking for just a chicken burger, this place won't disappoint.

The bad!

Chips - the concept is American style, the chips used are not American style and the salt is very bland and not flavorsome. These chips are more for your traditional chicken and chip shops. Pretty average chips 5 out of 10.

The shakes - got 2 shakes for my kids, hardly any oreo in them. Tastes like just milk 2 out of 10. The Nutella shake was nice 7 out of 10 for that one.

The cheeseburger - the pattie was burnt and was very salty. My kids had to throw out the patty and just eat the bread. 4 out of 10

The worst thing, the pricing! - I was pretty disgusted, the pricing is expensive but happy to pay. What I was disgusted with was that after 2pm you cannot get meals and have to buy drinks and chips all separately. That is clearly a money grab and not customer friendly. Very poor taste left in the mouth after that one. As a business owner myself, my customers always come first and you should never try to extort people.

So overall, I would definitely come back but would only get the boss burger because it was so good.

Hopefully next time things have changed to optimise...

Ordered a meal and had to wait a while, no fresh chicken was cooked, the restaurant was full of smoke, also a Male ordered after me and got his meal before mine, I notice ALL the reviews are from Males, and 4 males employees and have to wait ages for a meal. You only have a choice of a coke as they don’t offer lemonade Fanta or any other can of drink. The wrap was disgusting, just a piece of chicken fillet that was so thin with brown lettuce and some carrot!!!! No tomatoes, or cheese or mayo or sauce. Paying $14.60 for a chicken wrap with 3 ingredients some popcorn chicken chips and a drink. You get better value for a burger meal at KFC!

Being female I felt the male serving was rude and un friendly and made a point of serving a Male after me first!!! He ordered a meal like mine so they cooked his first then mine.... as I said NO food was ready or prepared for a lunch time rush! Overpriced and underwealmed food and staff. Would not recommend this place especially if your female and will...

I just had the most incredible beef burger at 2 Bros and I'm still drooling thinking about it! The patty was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char on the outside and a juicy, pink interior. The beef was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning.

The toppings were fresh and crisp, and the bun was soft and lightly toasted. But what really put this burger over the top was the balance of flavors and textures - every bite was a harmonious combination of savory, sweet, and tangy.

The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who clearly take pride in their work. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner or lunch with friends.

If you're a burger lover like me, do yourself a favor and get to 2 Bros ASAP. Your taste buds...
