Read moreThis is for the festival of frights thay happened in the 29th of October.
Extremely disappointed in this event. The festival claimed there was trick or treating for kids, we showed up at 6 and almost no one was offering trick or treating. The very few who were refused to give treats unless we bought something. Which is absolutely not the concept of trick or treating. Its like the organisers just put that on the info sheet as a way to get patrons without informing any of the stalls that it would be required. Our kids walked about with nothing but a few overpriced toys we bought them.
Even more disappointing is that they has baby barn yard animals in a tiny pen. It was run by one high schooler and let in wayyyyy to many kids at a time. There were animals squeeling and crying in pain as the 3 year olds picked them up, dropped them, pulled them etc. So disappointing to see baby animals treated this way and offered at this event with absolutely no thought towards their saftey and well being.
Its 2022 barn yard baby animal events should not be allowed at an event so badly mismanaged and with fireworks around.

Genuinely the organisers of this event should be...

Today our we were lead by our noses to the wood-fired pizza stall. Previously we have enjoyed Turkish Gozlemes for lunch.
There are stalls with German sausages, Sri Lankan Cuisine, Turkish delicacies, Asian cuisine and a handful of coffee stalls.
We opted for Krazy Lemon as beverage for the warm day. They have "lemon", "ginger & lemon" and "strawberry & lemon" options available in bottles. They also have iced versions available on tap.
Fresh produce range from fruit & veg to cheeses and cold meats. There are staff who offer hand sanitizer and ample signage encouraging 1.5m social distancing.
Parking might be extremely popular, so a good alternative is the parking at the shopping mall. A pleasant walk awaits you if you take a stroll down the promenade starting at ANZAC PLACE (Memorial). A family friendly environment and a melting pot of culture.
Another attraction is a weakness of mine, namely Ricotta Cannoli, which you can find at Mamma's on...
