ย ย ย Read moreWhat a terrible experience we had here a few weeks ago. Young group of children running amok..throwing large rocks into the Lagoon just missing a young girls head. Then a few of them knocked a young boy of his scooter , took his scooter and wallet and took of to the main road where they started throwing rocks at passers by and they hit a bloke in the back who became very upset. A concerned mother and i approached the security guards on duty and they responded "Cant do anything "....they literally just stood from a few metres away and just watched it all unfold. What a job (joke) that is...Security that cant do anything. I watched as angry parent almost took matters into their own hands ..the bloke that got hit by rocks did. Another gentleman told me that the kids were in Woolworths earlier that day walking around pushing things off shelves just for fun........How can you take your young ones here if SECURITY DOESNT EXIST. They need power to hold the kids until Police arrive or at least do...
ย ย ย Read moreSettlement lagoon is a beautiful area for a swim and a walk in the park.
There is a single change room at the carpark, which we waited forever to use, because we weren't sure if thered be change room at the lagoon.
The car parks are not exactly close, but I don't see that as a bad thing, because a little walk was delightful.
We arrive at the lagoon to find there are bathrooms/change rooms on the Inland side of the lagoon, and no line. The lagoon itself gets very, very busy. There's some fake grass to lay out a towel. There are life guards too, but please keep your eyes on your kids because they're not babysitters.
Next time, the one thing I'll definitely concider before going is the wind. It got extremely windy!! There might be a little less wind in the morning time, like a lot of places around the...
