Came on a weekday for brekkie and absolutely loved it. It's a very simple unassuming place, so depending on your perceptions of a cafe you will either love or it or not.
I was served by an elderly gentleman whose initial reticence was, I feel, simply shyness. I tried a dish of roasted mushrooms on sourdough that was in my opinion, excellent. The mushrooms were generous in portion, flavourful and a little crunchy. Served on thin slices of sourdough. The portions were very nicely balanced and I even had room for a lovely dessert after.... for breakfast yes.

The waitress we had today was really disengaged, very little conversation from her, in fact none & her manner was bordering on unfriendly. I observed a few hygiene "breeches" but honestly couldn't be bothered raising them.
