It was an advanced Mother's day celebration. But apparently a lot of people thought the same so despite getty there after open at a few minutes past five, there were a lot of pet already and we thought we couldn't get a tablet. But we did, I got to sit at the back in the "naughty" corner! Food took a while to get to us but we understood it was a busy time. We started with soups, all delicious! The mains came after more than an hour, we got them almost half past 6 pm! But as my husband and son said, it was worth it! Our face was the duck with mushroom sauce, perfect, no bones, tasty, crispy on the outside, tender inside, so delicate! The pepper steak was also good, just not as much as what we get from another China restaurant. I guess you pay for quality! The only bit bland was the chicken with cashews. My photos are a bit blurred do had to get from others. We paid $117. 50 , includes chicken and corn soup, wonton soup, beef and mushroom soup, tea for two, large rice served in a food warmer like the good old days in Chinatown, plus the 3 main dishes. We shall make sure we go there for lunch or just takeaway. Place is a bit cramped and when one is coughing I get nervous, worrying about Covid! Been here a few times for lunch and there is often just a middle aged lady serving. I think we shall stick to lunch orders. The two servers last night we're quite friendly and...

Noticed the restaraunt part had been refurbished from the last time I'd been there so nice to see they have updated. Inside looked very clean and neat. Service was friendly and didn't wait too long for my order considering they had a few people seated in the restaurant and other take away orders lined up.
I grabbed the Beef in Black Bean sauce and the basic fried rice to accompany it. Came to just under $25 which was good value as I had some left over for work the next day. Food was very tasty which might make me decide to gather a few friends and eat in the...
Read moreMy partner brought me here for a birthday dinner, but honestly, I wish we’d chosen somewhere else. The place felt cramped, and we had to wait several minutes just to be seated because staff were busy handling takeaway orders. The food was disappointing—I could make something so much better at home. For a restaurant that positions itself at the higher end of mid-range, the quality just wasn’t there. The décor and overall vibe didn’t do much to help either.
TL;DR: Overpriced for what you get. Average-at-best atmosphere and food that doesn’t justify the cost. Best to...
