The Peanut Van is located at Kingaroy QLD - Peanut Capital of Australia. This Peanut van are selling different variety of cooked peanut with lots of variance of flavours like BBQ flavours, rostered beer, sweet and chilli , wasabi flavours, and my favourite is Lime& chilli and lots of flavours . Across this Peanut Van is a park where you can take photo as Human Peanut mascot and it was so awesome for Instagram post if your an social media addict Not to far from here like 300 meter away you can find the PCA ( Peanut Company of Australia) where all this Peanut was process and this was the biggest factory of Peanut in Australia. You will see outside the three big tunnels where they process all there production and barely you can smell the mouthwatering peanut. Across the road PCA , you will the Museumâs of Kingaroy that was open 7 days a week or daily was open. When my first time to visit this museum , it captured my attention all the history for peanuts from their oldest equipment how they plant, grow and harvest peanut, also you can see different types of peanut. Other than peanuts information, this museum also showing the history of Kingaroy community how itâs grows in terms of economically perspectives and as town itâs self. On this museum , my favourite place is the souvenir area which located barely in the entrance of the museum where you can by all the product of Kingaroy and lots of Memorabilia. Being new in this small town of Kingaroy from a big city in Perth , I can say that this is a PERFECT PLACE to grown a small family and it has a good community where all the...
Read moreI grew up in Kingaroy and normally love Kingaroy Peanuts, especially Beer Nuts & Curried Peanutsâand I knew the original creator of Kingaroy Beer Nuts, Max B.
My daughter and I recently bought our favourite peanuts from the Peanut Van. My âBeer Nutsâ were not labelled as Beer Nuts despite the handwritten sign saying they were Beer Nuts. When queried the lady was kurt. Upon arriving back in Brisbane, I discovered my beloved âBeer Nutsâ tasted stale with a bland taste, and the Curried Peanuts barely tasted like curry. I binned the barely eaten âBeer Nutsâ.
About three years earlier as we passed through Kingaroy, my Chinese friend purchased about 4-5 large packets of various peanut flavours from the Peanut Van as gifts for her friends in China. When in China, she discovered that each of the bags of peanuts tasted stale. She said she threw each of the bags in the rubbish bin ($80-$100 worth).
In my case, I telephoned the peanut van to ask for a refund on the âBeer Nutsâ. The ban lady was rude and dismissed my concerns, but said she would refer my complaint to the relevant person and they would call me. No one ever did! NO MORE KINGAROY PEANUTS FROM THE KINGAROY PEANUT VAN FOR MEâ-and ditto for my adult daughter who said her peanuts werenât very nice as she once...

I'm now sure diarrhea is from here. and really i'm writing review from a toilet. i'm so upset, i thought i come to purchase some local speciaty and support local economy . i don't mind $25 for 2 bags of peanut. But the quality is horrible, not only diarrhea is the worst experience, but it's all nuts mixed up with CHEMICALS, MSG, super salty and yes, diarrhea is a big bonus. a horrible experience, you give the nut town a bad name. The owner must have very little enthusias to the job or qualilty, simply just try to make money. (making money is fine, but PLEASE,...
