my fish and chips was as cold as the ocean the fish batter was about as crunchy as a jellyfish and the chips were the same colour of the wrapping paper and the only salt here was from my tears as arnold never said ...i wont be back EDIT maybe my food was cold because the delivery person who parked in the middle of the rd nextdoor and hadnt marked my food as delivered for 10 mins after leaving , leads me to believe that maybe they weren't taking the greatest of care with my food i literally had to message them three times to get them to mark it as delivered so i could log a complaint with ubereats i never said your oils weren't clean and i submitted photo of the cold white chips and flaccid fish to ubereats or did you not bother to check your feedback ? with this simple fact , it disproves your claim of me being harsh and misleading , pot meets kettle hey ? i fully realize reviews can affect a business im pretty sure that is why people write them maybe im adding a little bit of humour to my review after being stung $22 for that floppy fish and chips i need a laugh so in actual fact i am the one who is insulted because what i said the thing that's insulting & untrue was calling that fish and chips

I had a very disappointing experience last time l had fish & chips from here. Time has passed, so l thought l would give it another try, hoping things had improved.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. The potato scallops are so small and not value for money at all. They need to Add extra in there. My snapper was so dry. It was like biting into a piece of cardboard, totally uneatable.

As a business owner myself, you really need to value your customer's providing good quality food and value for money after all what does it cost to give another potato scallop or two especially when they are so small. If you are going to serve fish like l received today, you need to find another job. Sorry but this was another very bad experience. We will not be back for the 3rd time bad experience. Hopefully you will learn something here.

PREVIOUS REVIEW This is my favourite fish & chip shop, that we alway drive to, when having fish & chips. I have been hanging out for fish & chips this week. Unfortunately l was so disappointed today when finally got my fish & chips. The potato scallops were nice and thin, just the way l like them, but they were NOT COOKED. Spent $50 on our meal for 4 people. Had read the reviews and as they were mixed decided to give it a try. However I will say we were disappointed. Firstly, our fish had a batter which was very oily and not crispy as it is in other stores which are also cheaper (eg. padbury fish and chips). It was also slightly over cooked as if it had been left in the oil or out under a heat lamp for a while. Secondly, the portion of chips advertised to serve 4 people barely served the two children in the group. When you’re paying near $50 on a meal you expect it to do what it’s advertised. Whilst this was a problem the chips we did receive had been cooked mostly well with some under and some overdone which always happens no matter where you go. Finally, the one thing we couldn’t complain about is that the order was technically correct with everything in it. But it would’ve travelled better if the fish, sides and chips were packed seperate.
