Matsuya — Restaurant in Kingsley

This is the 1st 5 STAR Rating i have given. Well done to this beautiful delicious food business, Matsuya, they deserve 5 stars all the way!!!! Matsuya is my favourite of all time food places. I enjoy all sorts of food & i love the menu here. I am pretty fussy with sushi & kebabs. I have never been able to fault this Chef's food(yes, the owner is a wonderful,very personable family man & Chef originally from Japan) He delights all with Yummy sumptuous bountiful meals such as Bento boxes filled to the brim, sushi, spring rolls, kebabs & so many other dishes - they're all fantastic♡They offer Sushi Platters made to order for you. The Sushi is freshly made by the Chef himself, as is everything else. My favourite Sushi selection is the smoked salmon..perfect!. The prices are great - cannot complain at all! The service is welcoming, friendly & well-mannered. I love this place, its food & the people that run it♡ i have returned on many many occasions to Matsuya in Kingsley & will continue to do so. The prices don't burn a hole in my pocket whatsoever. Its more of a "take it away & enjoy" than a sit-in formal restaurant. Wow. My first time here and food was so good! Take away only. Next to kingsley tavern/thirsty camel. Round the corner from bakers delight. Small kitchen and efficient working team behind counter. Service was polite and quick. I couldn't decide so I got first on their in store menu picture on the wall : wagyu beef steak rice, salad and 2 sushi pieces. Medium rare steak, well seasoned salt pepper and seared, fluffy steam rice and a good amount of salad (as a side it was a decent serving of salad - unlike some restaurants) The dressing on salad was delish and fresh, cabbage was crisp too. It also came with this ginger dipping sauce which added to all the flavours. For a bento box it was packed, and full of flavour. Think I'll be back to have the rest of the menu soon. Nb this was dinner time and I was asked to wait 20 to 25 mins but I got my food just before 20 min mark and I was fine waiting in the car. About 3 weeks ago, my mum went and got some takeaway from here and I was very disappointed to see that the teriyaki tofu main and rice option that we paid $10 for only had 3 pieces of tofu... the taste was nice but not very value for money. Didn't even have enough tofu to eat with the rice... In the picture for the main and rice and side option, there was about 6 pieces of tofu so I expected that the main and rice to be exactly that except without the sides...? Anyway whilst I was disappointed, mum had the extended bento with side dishes for a few dollars extra and for that the portion was very standard...
