I was attracted to try this restaurant because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and ordered takeaway on Friday night

I was initially advised the wait for food would be 25-30 minutes. The food took about 35-40 mins before it was ready. I was also unfortunately double charged for the one veggie platter I ordered, ie two appeared on the receipt, when I asked for one, and received one. I was able to resolve this by returning to the store

In terms of the food, the garlic spinach rice was nice, and the veggie platter at the original price would have been worthwhile. We also enjoyed both the Manchurian dumplings and the mango chicken, noting the dumplings were quite spicy. I did think the dal tadka could have had more flavour, and found the naan bread to be a little tough, which may have been a product of it being taken away, rather than eaten fresh in...

For our 70th birthday party we went and tasted a few different Indian restaurants in the area and found Indian N Spices to most tasty not only that the service we got from VJ the chef was amazing. He discussed the dishes we wanted, explained it all in detailed, worked out how much food we needed for approximately 55 adults and even told us about presentation. He went above and beyond to make sure our guests were going to enjoy his food. If you’re wanting Indian Cuisine for your party I do recommend having a chat to VJ. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the chef working on Thursday 29/05, we ordered takeaway tonight online and said we had a nut allergy. If I was being a responsible allergy person I should’ve called ahead and asked what was possible but it totally slipped my mind. When we went to pick up he had waited to cook our food because he was concerned about cross contamination and made us a custom dish because what we had initially ordered had nuts in it.
