TLDR: Still the best FRESHLY made burek in a very wide area of Victoria . . I live in the west and work all the way in the east, and yet still craving burek from them !

Balkan Fresh Burek . . After all these years going around tasting bureks, still the best burek that I have ever had. Finally came back here today to grab 4 boxes of Bureks and some Baklavas for my work colleagues in Rowville area because I know by heart (and stomach) that this is the best family style fresh burek there is for me (and all of my colleagues agreed) !

If you are planning to pick your order up in the morning, make sure to call them a day before to put your order in ! They have so many people ordering burek and they are freshly made, so your phone call would help them make smooth preparation for your orders, FRESHLY MADE.

I came in this morning, not knowing that because I have not really thought of that . . I do not mind the wait at all when they kindly explained to me how overwhelmed they were with pick up orders, but yet still trying their best to deliver my 4 boxes of fresh burek in timely manner. I do not mind the wait, and to be honest it was not long at all.

They gave their best to deliver my big orders as quickly as they can and yet the quality is still the best burek I have ever had. 2 boxes of meat burek, 1 box of spinach burek, and halfsies of meat and cheese burek plus some baklavas and yoghurt dip . . Worst customer service ever won’t be coming back here again! Food is great customer service Is not was watched like a hawk Ordered takeaway and was starving so I sat down to eat before I took my medication and was repeatedly asked if I was taking away with my food? Who cares if I sat down to eat? The whole place was empty anyway when I asked why the question he kept saying it’s different u ordered takeaway There’s no signage or anything written in the whole shop anywhere customer service was rude, awkward and demeaning. My whole family comes here I will be telling them to go elsewhere not happy and was made to feel sick $70 spent...

Amazingly tasty Burek but sadly only a limited number of styles available in the smaller $9.00 portions. On this occasion I settled for the classic Cheese & Spinach variety which was scrummy. As I work down the road, I'll visit again and try the meat variety. There are many other styles available in the large size including fruit varieties. This place is certainly worth a visit but sadly you cannot eat there. Update: After visiting numerous times since my review I've noted an inconsistency in their 'hot' takeaway selection. Not heated through, not heated enough, cool etc. I've now adjusted my rating...
